If I lived closer, I would be here all the time. The atmosphere is so metropolitan, but cozy at the same time. The service is friendly and chill, and the coffee is delicious and STRONG. A great place to work alone or with a group of any size.

Stopped by during my most recent trip to South Bend and was pleasantly surprised by the pourovers we tried. The flavors were really subtle and delicious and probably the best coffee I've had in Indiana so far. The atmosphere was very instagrammable; monochromatic, sparse and sleek, but with really beautiful light because of the large windows. It seemed like 90% of the patrons were students and about half were working on laptops, which I'm guessing means it's a good place to work. The food was okay -- very homey in the "I literally could have made this at home" sense. Not bad, but kind of plain. The coffee made up for that. The service was fine -- they seemed a little annoyed that we didn't know exactly what we wanted when we got to the counter. But other than that, no complaints. Free parking in the lot right next to the shop.

Did not meet expectations. Ordered a chai and one of their granola bowls. The chai was probably barely 8 oz and the bowl’s flavors (while a good idea) were not balanced at all. Service was slow even though there was no line. Wifi also was slow. Maybe the things I ordered weren’t their strong suit, but it was overall very meh. Don’t get where the good reviews are coming from.

Amazing coffee aroma as soon as you walk through the door. Pleasantly simple and inviting environment with plenty of seating to work or be sociable. Quick bites are fresh and well prepared. Coffee was great, fresh and brewed to perfection. One of my favorite spots in South Bend. I come here every week. The coffee options are varied and excellent (I love their pour overs and all the distinct flavor profiles) and The Lincoln is one of my favorite sandwiches in town. Their matcha lattes are also great! There's plenty of vegetarian options, too. Even if you're not vegetarian, the veggie wrap (with a side of fruit) is a perfect way to start the day. The atmosphere is comfortable, relaxing, and the music selection is *chef's kiss*. Everything tastes so fresh. The staff go above and beyond. Incredibly friendly! I sometimes wish newcomers were a bit more understanding and patient. A person who is serious about Guinness would never expect to receive their Guinness order 'immediately'. It's important to remember that, when it comes to coffee, a pour over takes time, care, and attention. One can tell that this coffee shop wants their customers to walk away feeling as though they didn't just 'order a coffee', but had an 'experience'. And my experience has always been a positive one!

This is a place I used to frequent a lot, on September 6 at about 2 pm I came in to get my usual coffee and breakfast burrito with my service dog. When walking up to the register a woman told me dogs weren’t allowed and I reassured her he was a service animal, after sitting down and waiting for my coffee, another woman emerged from the back to speak to the other employee. She then came over to me and told me even in these circumstances dogs are not allowed and that I needed to sit on the rooftop area to wait for my stuff. I find that very ridiculous as I’ve seen service dogs in there previously when I’ve sat in there to do homework. I told them I’d sit in my car as I had no interest of sitting on the roof of a building. I am very shocked and appalled by this behavior of this establishment. I’ve always known it to have a hipster and modern like atmosphere but I will not be returning again. Not to mention prices have went up a tremendous amount and my coffee and food were a total of 19$ for low quality and tiny portions.
