The steak tacos have never miss for me! They don’t skimp on the meat and it’s just the right amount of flavor! Definitely the best tacos in town ANNNDD they’re reasonably priced. Highly recommend!

Food is mid, meat is dry and tough, and management can’t handle bad publicity. Not a huge loss since this part of town has plenty of other Mexican restaurants to choose from. To be completely honest, I’ll take one of those taco trucks over this place

This place is one of my favs for Mexican food! Love love love their food, so I would have gave them 5 stars BUT the price is ridiculous 3.75 for a taco is insane over $10 for three tacos but your going to want guacamole which is like 7.50/8.50 and rice and beans added so over $20 for one person is crazy to me. The other star got took because of you order soup like menudo you will have a bowl full of the soup and barely any meat. Other than those two things the food taste amazing!

Taqueria Chicago is one of my 2 favorite places in South Bend to get AUTHENTIC Mexican food. They have the best tacos and tostadas. Their seasoning is always on point! They don't switch up their recipes. My order is always right there. I'm getting hungry thinking about their food! Lol I love the atmosphere. It's a small, clean, comfortable family owned restaurant. I eat here often and 10/10 definitely recommend. It's pretty small, so you wouldn't do any large family dinners here, but for a good bite with friends or dinner with just the kids it's perfect!
