Great food and service. pizzas are delicious and best chicken sandwich I've ever had.
We had a big party of 16 (plus a pup and a baby) this evening and The Lauber didn't miss a beat! The food was fresh and fantastic and Bradly went above and beyond to make sure everyone was happy. He's an absolute gem! You can bet that we'll be back! Thank you for another great experience!
I walked over to this place today and while the restaurant was jam packed, they were able to accommodate me. There was a large group event in most of the outside so I chose to sit inside. The mocktail I ordered was delicious and not too sweet. I also ordered a side salad and the chicken rigatoni and they were both great! The food did take an extremely long time to be served. I spent over 40min waiting for my dinner. Outside of that, everything was great and I’d come back again.
Great relaxed spot to get a great meal. Tin can nachos are a hit for guests of all ages
We had the burgers and both agreed they were good - not great, but good. Would have been 5 stars but..
As someone who believes in tipping according to service (was not the greatest), I almost lost it when I discovered not only that the lowest pre-programmed tip is 20%, but also that the buttons are- I suspect very intentionally- placed counterintuitively decreasing from left (30%) to right (20%). So if you hit the button in the left bottom corner , thinking it’s the lowest, you pay the highest, 30% tip.
Really a bit tired of feeling scammed/taken for a fool when going to restaurants

So incredibly disappointed in the garlic cheesy bread! It used to be made with pizza dough, generous amount of cheese and spices. What we picked up today was straight up Texas toast except it was worse because it wasn’t fresh out of the oven by the time we got home.
Won’t order it again… the cheesy bread used to be one of our top picks and why we would go here.

Another review from my trip to South Bend!!
While in town I was looking for a place to get lunch with my son. We found "The Lauber" and figured we'd give it a try. I was interested in some chicken soup. I ordered a cup of their chicken dumpling soup and with one taste fell in love!! I was eating healthy so I got a cobb salad as well, which was really good, but I will be raving about that soup for a while! My son ordered some salmon and got some brussell sprouts with balsamic as a side. I'm not a big fan of brussell sprouts as they are often not made well done. My son forced me to try one insisting they were good and he was RIGHT!! It was my second favorite item from the meal behind the soup.
If you are looking for some delicious soup and brussell sprouts head on over to The Lauber and you won't be disappointed!!

Waited at front door to be helped no one around finally after 4-5 minutes someone came around the corner and said someone will be with you in a minute two minutes later someone came to help us pick up our order. We got take out mine was good for the most part however my friend ordered a half of a Cobb salad which was 10$ it came with two baby tomatoes, maybe a third of a egg sliced, and maybe 5 pieces of bacon, and lots of red onion. The size of the salad was what u would pay 3-5 dollars for at any restaurant the size of a small side salad. It’s in a small box the size of a Big Mac box.
