I wanted to give it a try on Friday 10/18/24. However at 5:30pm they were closed. Very strange

The meat was ok, just didn’t get much for your money! The sides are absolutely horrible! Baked beans are pork n beans, the greens are canned just doctored, and the Mac n cheese absolutely horrible! They were cooked on top of the stove! Very disappointing! We spent $74 for our family! Two meals with 2 sides, One with one side, and two with just meat no sides!

Solid BBQ. The pulled pork was delicious, and the Cajun mac and cheese has just the right amount of heat. Add brisket to the menu, and you'll be selling out.

Great local bbq place. Super delicious pulled pork. They have their in house sauce, but they also have a wall of locally made small batch sauces you can use.

I'm looking forward to going back again.

Visiting South Bend for the US National Scrabble Championship and found this place around the corner from our hotel. What a deal you get with the chicken and ribs and choice of sides. I found out that this is a new place and with such generous portions, cheap prices, and the friendliest of staff, this place is going to excel. I am telling my 300 tournament player friends to come over! You will be more than satisfied by the huge portions. Loved the baked beans with ground turkey. A champ in South Bend BBQ dining.

My wife and I visited recently and I have to say we will be returning. We had the rib tips with and honestly they needed no sauce. But what's one to when your surrounded by sauce! I did not count how many there were but plenty. All of which were tasty and not one the same. Also let's not forgot their house bbq sauce! Which was very good as well. The staff were quite friendly and welcoming. All and all I can say this will be our new local spot and we are excited to try everything else on the menu!

Best rib tips you will ever have! They have a house sauce and a wall of sauce, but you don't need any of that. The tips on their own have such an amazing flavor, I ate them by themselves. I can't wait to go back and try more.

Good food and good prices! It’s obvious that they just opened and are still working on the finishing touches. Didn’t have a chance to try the pulled pork but the 1/4 chicken was delicious!

I've now been here twice once by myself and the other with my brother and both times the food was super good. I highly recommend getting some Mac n cheese. The flavor of the Mac is indescribable to me, all I can say is it's comforting and just out right delicious. My guess is they use chicken stock or grease to make the Mac. The first visit I bought the 1/4 chicken with 1 side of mac for 11 Dollars along with a bottle of barqs Root beer for 2.50 the chicken was cooked nicely with a good smokey flavor without any sauce and don't even get me started on this in house made fresh every morning bbq sauce. It's such a good sweet and smokey bbq sauce. It's very comforting and just the flavor profile was immaculate. The second visit I had pulled pork with 2 sides of Mac and
root beer baked beans and now before you say eww root beer baked beans.. just try it the root beer flavor was subtle but just enough to taste really good and niche. This cost me 12.50 including a drink due to a combo sale they had going on. (Yes cheaper than before on my first visit) This place overall had great rustic vibes and also had a bbq sauce sampling bar with so many unique niche bbq sauces including apple sauce bbq sauce, mustard bbq sauce, ivory white bbq sauce and even raspberry bbq sauce my favorite out of the niche category. And for those hot heads they have a hot sauce sampling bar too.

Ordered rib tips and portion was huge. $12 for tips plus one side. Couldn't finish it all. Places offers 60 kinds of BBQ sauce, so it's fun to experiment with the flavors. Interior is rustic, hand-crafted by owners using reclaimed wood.

Food had good flavor, but the portion size was small for the price though, as we left and were still hungry.
