I would highly recommend Woochi to anyone! My wife and I have been going here for years and are treated like royalty everytime we walk in the door. Ross and the rest of the staff are friendly, attentive, and truly amazing! The food is by far the best in the South Bend/Mishawaka area (especially if you enjoy Asian cuisine) and the atmosphere is tremendous for a nice evening out. I would give Woochi a 10 star rating if I could!

Exceedingly mediocre food cooked poorly. Chicken cooked from frozen and sauces from a jar, on par with Panda Express, but somehow worse. Soup had the consistency of raw egg whites. Not worth the money.

I’ve left a five-star review for this place before, and I still stand by everything positive I said about the food and atmosphere. However, I feel the need to address an unpleasant experience with a server named Amy during a farewell lunch with about 15 people.
Unfortunately, Amy’s behavior was unprofessional and rude throughout the meal. At one point, she asked one of my colleagues to move out of her way while she was serving dishes, which was unnecessary and uncalled for. Later, I accidentally spilled some juice on my friend's chopsticks and politely asked Amy to take away the dirty chopsticks and other used plates. Her response was a dramatic eye roll and an impatient attitude. Despite us being polite and thanking her each time she brought something to the table, she continued to show a lack of courtesy.
The most upsetting moment came when my friend asked a simple question about the default 18% tip added to her takeout order. She was just curious as to why it was charged, considering she was only ordering for herself. Instead of a helpful answer, Amy responded in a very dismissive and rude manner, even going so far as to say “you are bullshit” to my friend. This type of behavior is unacceptable, especially when we were being polite and generous throughout our meal.
I’ve been a regular at Whoochi, visiting almost twice a week, and I’ve always had positive experiences until now. It’s disappointing to encounter such a negative attitude, especially from a server who should be providing excellent service. I want to make it clear that we paid a generous tip for our table service and were respectful at all times.
The manager handled the situation well and addressed our concerns in a professional manner, which I appreciated. However, I strongly recommend avoiding Amy as a server. Her attitude was rude, unprofessional, and unfortunately, felt discriminatory. This experience has left a sour impression, and I hope the restaurant takes steps to address this issue.

Appetizers needed salt. My chicken was underdone. I took a couple bites and couldn’t swallow, ended up sending it back. The manager was very nice and admitted it wasn’t cooked all the way.

Friend picked up an order for staff helping at 7/8th grade dance. I ordered Sizzling Pepper Steak. Was not very tasty. Steak was gummy/chewy. Carrots barely cooked, rice bland. For what they paid, they could have gotten better from Panda Express with more food than we got. Will not try again.

Small group dinner ordering a variety of dishes. Staff accommodated food allergies without issue, and all dishes were delicious and well displayed. Definitely a good place for dinner. Update: same excellent experience as always!
Update Nov 2024: once again, same great experience 👍
Got the teriyaki chicken and it was extremely rubbery. California roll tasted artificial and pad Thai beef was subpar. Fried rice tasted out of a frozen box. I’ve never went out of my way to leave a bad review of a food place in my life, this was genuinely horrendous.

Food is amazing, we had the snow crab legs. They might need another server though, the night we were there it was a full house and she was struggling to keep up with her allotment of tables.

Decided to go to Woochi for dinner since we haven’t been there in years. Should have went with our gut and walked out… Service was terrible, our waitress was sitting talking for 10 minutes before she even got to us after she gave us waters, it was dead, I had to ask the person who washes dishes to get our server for us. She had headphones in, and none of them looked presentable to even be servers. Our server did not smile once and didn’t seem to want to be there. Our food was terrible as well as the drinks…the food came out in 5 minutes which is scary and the drinks took longer than the food and they tasted like water . We had ordered apps, but they didn’t come out before the food so we had to cancel them. The best part was the parking spot right in front, we left and ordered pizza.
