I got food poisoning yesterday from this place. We come once a week typically because we enjoy sushi. My wife had the beansprout veggie dish. No issues. I had the Alaskan roll, the california roll, and gyoza. Miso soup. I feel like I should be compensated my 65 dollars back with tip for such a waste of money. Diarrhea, and crazy vomiting for an entire night. If you don't make this right, I won't recommend you and Def, won't be back. Reach out.

We were excited to experience a new restaurant, especially because we are located locally and have been looking for an Asian inspired option. We started with a bottle of wine ( only good thing) and a couple appetizers. They were hugely disappointing and obviously from a frozen product. After ordering our entree and receiving in record time, we soon realized it was definitely not prepared as described by the menu. I’ve never left a negative review prior to this but felt it necessary for the staff, owner and future customers.

My experience with the above and beyond service at Woochi started with prompt and professional service for my girlfriends recent birthday party! the 15 of us including me sat down on a Tuesday and were greeted with a fully prepped and ready table, attentive waitstaff and a drink order was in and delivered promptly. Two absolutely delicious sushi boats ( one sashimi and one sushi) quickly followed and everything was off to an amazing start! The restaurants choice in music, lighting, and general feel perfectly matches the refreshing take on a traditional hibachi and sushi restaurant! After an accidental water tip over by one of the guests at my table the staff responded quickly replacing the silverware and napkins, along with drying ( and even going as far as to mop and sweep the entire affected area!) within moments of the accident. This level of service and responsiveness was maintained throughout the dinner and sets an extremely impressive standard for anywhere else! After an absolutely perfect dinner a beautiful cake with a very neat and creative spinning rose centerpiece ended our perfect night and tied everything together perfectly! A few hours later after everyone has returned home we realized one of the birthday cards ( containing a gift) was left on the table by mistake, so I called the restaurant which was understandably closed since it was already past midnight. The next day I received a prompt response from the manager Rob who after I explained the situation. Offered without any type of prompting or request, to go through the dumpster and look for the missing gift! A few minutes later I received a second phone call from Rob informing me that the owner himself had heard our conversation and elected to personally do the deed and had in fact located the gift and would hold onto it until we could come pick itUp!! This level of service, from the gentlemen who helped clean up the spilled water, to the amazing hostess and waitstaff who handled every request we could’ve had. All the way up to the manager and even owner offering and going through a restaurants trash on behalf of a phone call! Shows beyond a shadow of a doubt the highest level of experience I have ever encountered and deserves to be recognized as such! Thank you so much to everyone at Wooshi and I’m excited to visit again!!!

The food was excellent!! I went on Valentine’s day so the place was very full. The service was alright with our waitress. We had sushi, we ordered a Margarita and a Cosmo Martini, had an appetizer and spent a little over $100 dollars.Parking: There’s parking right outside the restaurant and also in the streets downtown.

I was excited about this place but unfortunately it wasn’t as good as I’d hoped. Our food was mediocre and the service was as well. We were seated in the basement which had very mismatched decor which affected the vibe. Upstairs seemed nice though!

***Editing to respond to restaurant - I don’t mind sharing that information. Check # 16, ordered through toast tab on 12/24. Now, I will acknowledge your disingenuous response. I surely have high expectations for places I spend my hard earned money. At the very least, I expect to be spoken to. I dine out frequently & throughout several years, I’ve had a few undesirable experiences. My reviews do not consist of restaurants alone & I truly give low reviews to only the absolute worst. Nonetheless, I was never flat out ignored at any of those places, so maybe I should edit them & give a higher rating. Based on the service I received, the lack of accountability & unprofessionalism in your response was to be expected. Wish you all the best.My family & I were in South Bend visiting my parents for the holidays. I wanted sushi & I found this place. I did a quick online order & headed to the restaurant to pick it up. When I arrived with my 5 year-old, there was a man on the phone. I assume it was the owner, but I could be wrong. Long story short, he never acknowledged us standing there. He took call after call & never even said, “I’ll be with you in a moment.” My 5 year-old whispered in my ear to ask why he was ignoring us. I continued to stand silently. I have NEVER had such awful treatment. Anywhere. There were waitresses chatting amongst eachother, watching the whole ordeal. Eventually, one reluctantly came over to ask if I had a pickup order & added, “Well did you already pay?” I had. I hated that I had because at this point, I would have just left the restaurant. I will never step foot in here again. The sushi was subpar AT BEST & falling apart. I will be sure to take my business elsewhere.

This place really likes to hype themselves up but I have yet to be overly impressed by the food. The sushi is poorly rolled and uninspired flavor wise. The Agedashi tofu app was basic and again uninspiring. I did enjoy the Seafood Sizzing Rice Soup and the Tom Yum Goong soup. The staff is attentive and the drinks are pretty good. Can just get better food for a better price elsewhere.Parking: Parking can be a nightmare on the weekends during peak hours.

Always great food, but most of the female servers aren't very nice. I love love the spicy tuna rolls and sweet potato rolls!

I had a great time here mostly because of this amazing cocktail they made for me, and I was also glad they carried the super white tuna. Sushi was ok. Defintely melt in your mouth, but don’t by any means think their sushi is better than other respected sushi restaurants in South Bend. I’m not sure I’ll be back, but I definitely enjoyed my time there.

Came in for an early birthday dinner with my sister. I got there early and everyone was very friendly. The waitress was attentive but not pushy or over bearing. We had sushi and pad thai. They even gave us a complimentary banana boat for my birthday. Not that I'm complaining but this is the only negative I could find. The banana boat was supposed to come with a scoop of ice cream, ours was missing it but I had a great time and it was complimentary so who am I to complain.
