I pulled up, and a little girl, about 10 or 11 years old, came out to take my order. She told me that they don't sale hot food at all anymore even though it is on the menu. Just ice cream, very disappointing, if you're burned out , then sale it to someone that can make it successfull again, neat looking building though

Our car club stopped here for an ice cream run. Service was great , food was limited, but a good place overall . Not sure how long it will be open as for its up for sale.

Delicious and fun!!

Kid-friendliness: A small playground for little kids seemed well-kept.

Spent time with the grand sons. The server was like 10 years old but was excellent. Tipped her well.

The employees were super friendly and nice, however the ice cream cones were served on stale cones. I’m sure they washed their hands after handling cash before handing us the cones but it didn’t matter because of how old the cones tasted. We’ve driven by many times and always wanted to try Carol’s. We were pretty disappointed.

Great lemon, vanilla twist soft serve!

Embarrassingly bad. McDonald's will give you a more flavorful experience for cheaper. The servers were nice and everything, but the burgers were absolutely devoid of any flavor resembling meat. The patties were somehow both watery (not juicy, watery) AND dry. The fries were equally tasteless.

After years of living in the South Whitley area and having Carol's Corner constantly recommended, I thought the food would be at least average. Unfortunately, while the small shop and atmosphere said "salt of the earth," the actual food said "no salt anywhere at all."

Everything required obnoxious amounts of ketchup and mustard just to give the impression it was edible, and even then, it just tasted like ketchup and mustard instead of meat. Do yourself a favor and eat literally anywhere else on the street—I'm sure even the gas station burgers use seasoning.

We could honestly only order one item because Carol's ïs cash or check only. So few places accept checks that I don't carry them with me. I'm sure all the local folks know but for those of us traveling thru we were unprepared. The service was fast and efficient and very nice. It was fun to read all the license plates on the side of the building. There was a very well behaved dog who was hanging out with some ice in a dog pool. There are a few playground items for kids and picnic tables to enjoy your treats.

I have lived in south Whitley for a while now and I have never met a business owner as rude as Carol. Money hungry and ready to retire. The food is your typical overpriced nasty fried food and the service is terrible. When we got our food it was dry and cold. And they only accept cash or check. So proof of payment isn’t even possible, and then they tried to tell us we didn’t pay when we had to go get money to be able to pay and get our food. I would never recommend this place to anyone.
