Loved visiting here and eating breakfast with my aunt and my cousin during Labor Day weekend. I was visiting from Alabama. So much has changed in South Whitley. Still very small and only one stop light. This Corner Cafe was a great place to eat and think and talk about old times. The two ladies working there were very personable and friendly. And I even got to help one of them open the towel dispenser in the restroom. She could not see the key hold to put the key in so she said you're tall can you help me out? Or somthing of that nature. Loved eating here and talking to the two working ladies, thank you for great service!

Good, down home cooking. If you think you're hungry, get the biscuit and gravy omelette, there is a lot of food there, and their gravy is top notch, coming from a southern boy. I got the 2x2x2, with 2 pancakes, strips of bacon, and eggs, with an extra egg, over medium... perfectly cooked. The coffee was a little weak for my taste, but I like it strong, and have never had coffee strong as I like it. Our server was a cute redhead with an even cuter sense of humor, and deserved the tip we all left her. Nice fan in one of the rooms made from a windmill looks like it would move some air, and it made me want one so I could cut my head off in my low-ceilinged house. Looking forward to going back before I leave Indiana this week.

Stopped by the Corner Cafe driving home (to Indianapolis) from lake Tippy. The decor was quaint and clean. The service was great and our breakfast was WONDERFUL! So glad we took a chance on this small town gem!

If you enjoy small town diners like I do, then you'll like The Corner Cafe. I had the Truckers special which includes hash browns, toast, eggs, and a massive country fried steak. Everything was cooked very good. Even the toast was delicious. Prices are very reasonable. The cafe was clean and more seating than I had imagined. Will definitely come back.

Old fashioned GOOD "home cooked" flavor, BEST customer service I've received in a LONG time, GREAT prices (didn't know 2 could still enjoy a sit down dinner for under $45+)Dinner for 2 was $30+ change. Will DEFINITELY be returning. Keep up the great job!
