So cool to step back in time at this historic one-room school house from the 1800s turned ice cream shop!! Many pieces from the past are on display; it is super interesting! And the ice cream is delicious as well! The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the building, and they love to share with visitors. The outside area around the school house is very cool to check out as well!
What an amazing piece of history. This one room school house is open to see, and as an added bonus, they sell ice cream. The lady working there was so nice. They do accept credit cards but I highly recommend paying in cash. Their grounds are covered in historic pieces and lots of beautiful flowers. Will definitely return!
My wife and I went after we spent some time at the cataract falls. The ice cream is very delicious and it is reasonably priced as well! It's a very cool atmosphere and to look around at an old school house is very neat and eye opening. The parking is limited, but definitely worth finding a spot to go in and check it out. I would most likely visit this place again if I'm in the town.
