The building was pretty clean. However, the couple chances i have given this place have been disappointing. We had quick and friendly service. The food and ice cream both times were old and had very poor quality.

Absolutely Incredible Service people and place...I love it here...worked on a house in this area a couple years back...and outside of mondays every other day was here to eat...they always killed it and I personally was always satisfied with it all across the board...thank you kindly...Best part of the entire month I's down there...thanks so very much. The experience, however, was a mix of satisfaction and disappointment.Right off the bat, I'd like to commend the team at Spencer Dairy Queen for their prompt service and friendly demeanor. In a time when customer service can be hit or miss, it was refreshing to be served by a staff that was not only efficient but also warm and welcoming.The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the Blizzard. It was every bit as delectable as I'd hoped it would be, brimming with flavor and the perfect antidote for a hot day. It's clear that when it comes to their signature desserts, Dairy Queen certainly knows how to deliver.Unfortunately, the positive aspects of my visit were overshadowed by a rather unsettling observation. I noticed mouse droppings and dead insects lying in the window sills of the dining area. This immediately raised concerns about the overall cleanliness and hygiene standards of the establishment. It's hard to fully enjoy a meal when you're met with such a sight, and it did make me question what I might unknowingly be consuming in that otherwise delicious Blizzard.While I understand that maintaining a spotless environment can be challenging, especially in a food service venue, it is nonetheless vital for ensuring the health and safety of customers. I sincerely hope that Spencer Dairy Queen takes this feedback seriously and makes the necessary improvements.In conclusion, while the service and food were commendable, the hygiene issue severely impacted my overall experience. I can only hope that this was an isolated incident and that the management will take immediate steps to rectify this situation. If they do, I would be more than willing to give them another shot. Until then, I'd be hesitant to return or recommend this Dairy Queen to others.

Every time I went to the Spencer Indiana Dairy Queen, the food, chocolate shakes and malts, the staff and the customers were always very friendly ! It was a pleasure to go there, but sometimes it was hard for them to understand my slow, Southern 'drawl', as I probably sounded like a hick to them. But this is okay, as I kept going back there.

The guy working the evening shift are very friendly. Good icecream and shakes. There still an ok place to eat. It's hard to keep businesses running more people need to support them. They have been a staple in our small town for so long I can't not having it in Spencer.
I am on a diet and they didn't have roasted chicken bites or salads. The tea tasted like a dish rag. And the person at register was not very knowledgeabl.. would not recommend this location ex ept for ice cream.Dietary restrictions: Didnot have any product I could have on my diet restrictions.

Not so long ago Spencer Dairy Queen was the slowest restaurant in town. We came thru the drive thru and ordered a meal and ice cream. Burger and fries with a peanut butter parfait. Used to take 10-15 minutes to get that order, some days even 20!! But that day it only took 5!! I was impressed even though we had to pull up for our meals at least they gave us our ice cream to snack on, and we were still on our way home in less than 10 minutes. The drive thru guy was very nice, and I appreciated that! I may be stopping by a lot more now!

The “foot long” dog was two regular hot dogs on a large bun with 2” of empty bread in between and my chocolate malt had an onion in it. Zero stars not an option.Kid-friendliness: Absolutely not
