King cut med. rare prime rib was magnificent. The au-jus was so good that I'd order it as a beverage. The wife had the lightly breaded walleye. She said it was very good. The house salad was better than expected. We ordered the spinach dip with chips. Very nice. We were there on Thursday at 5 pm. Our dip and chips came quickly, then our salad soon after. But our entrees came too soon. The kitchen should have held off 15 minutes or so. All in all, it was a teriff9c experience....
Every part of our dining experience was great. The service was outstanding and very fast, and the food was amazing. From the salad and appetizer, to the fries, to the prime rib, everything tasted phenomenal. Glad we checked out this restaurant, and we’ll definitely be back!
The quirky entrance is a great start to any restaurant experience! Lives up to its name! I love the moody lighting. It makes the space feel more cozy. I also liked the candle on the table. I ordered the breaded fish and chips. Since Peterson's closed down, Down Under has the best fish in town! I forgot what my waiter's name was but she had really cute glasses and was very quick with our orders. The time I go I'll probably try a drink at the bar!
