I've been bouncing into this place a few times per year for about 25 years. I've seen it go through a few owners, countless chefs, servers and menu changes. I can tell you with complete honesty that the overwhelming majority of those 25 years the food was consistently good. However around 22/23 the menu and food quality went to a new level. This is our first visit here. When we arrived the hostess asked us if we had reservations as all the tables were reserved. We had no idea that was even an option here, let alone a requirement for this evening. She invited us to sit at the bar since we were there to see the band playing later this evening. This bruscetta photo says it all! We had the New Year menu that included appetizer, salad, main course with sides, excellent dessert, and a glass of champagne or wine! I challenge anyone to find a better chicken breast or steak! We were so busy enjoying our food that I forgot to take other photos. We used to go there a lot, but stopped as the food quality went south. I'm so glad we are going back now. If you had a poor experience in the past, I would say give it another try....read full review
