Ordered pizza and there was a mishap on the address. They didn’t even call to ask about it being the wrong address, was a friends address. We had to call and try to figure out how it was delivered when it wasn’t at our house. Then they went on another delivery before delivering ours (already an hour out). I placed an online order through the Papa Johns app and the app quit working and said the store was closed and I could not check the status of the order. I called the Tell City Indiana store and the girl answered with “we aren’t taking orders” I said okay but I already placed an order and I was checking the status. Papa John's Pizza is usually excellent, but recently there were some disappointments. A small The Works pizza had extra sauce but was burned, and a large carryout special had an unexpectedly thick crust. Despite this, the employees were friendly, engaging with customers, and the food was hot and correct. They offer vegetarian options like cheese pizza and are kid-friendly. Overall, it's a decent place to grab a meal, but consistency might be an issue.
