First time visiting and it was incredible! Loved the atmosphere, server was very kind, enjoyed the meatball and baked goat cheese apps which were outstanding. Ordered the lasagna which was very delicious, the homemade marina is so good! Then shared a slice of the limoncello cheesecake! The perfect dessert to top off the evening! Not that my son is a student at ISU, I will most definitely be adding this to our list of must repeat!

IMHO the best restaurant in Terre Haute. Our son goes to college down in Terre Haute, so we are down there somewhat frequently and eat at a lot of places. We absolutely love this place.. they know exactly what they are doing in terms of food and hospitality. The staff are just phenomenal- you can see they have fun and love what they do. The bar is sublime with an exceptional selection and great mixed drinks. Food is amazing. We've been 3x now and always try something different, every meal has exceeded our expectations.The ambience is terrific too- the bar is beautiful to look at. Great music selections. Energetic and lively.. since they do such a great job of hosting it's a very happy atmosphere. Highly recommend- I'm getting hungry just writing this review :)

After our first visit we said we'd never go back but friends told us to give it another chance. We finally did and I can confidently say I have no idea how this place has such high reviews. The pear ravioli had little to no flavor and the 4 tiny pieces of asparagus tasted like they came out of birds eye frozen bag. The "bone in" pork chop was a fried tenderloin that happened to have a piece of bone attached. Very sad overall experience.

Drinks and appetizer were very good, great flavor. Two of the three meals were pretty spot on with flavor. One was a little bland. Would have liked a little fennel bulb, just a touch of heat and maybe a pinch of salt. We will be back to try more items.

Cool drinks! Great atmosphere. Waiting 2 hours to get noodles after making a reservation……not awesome. Avoid the place on Saturday nights.
I am a native of Terre Haute, but have lived away for most of my adult life. Still, I enjoy coming home, seeing friends and family, and most of all dinner at Bar Bosco.The owners, Joe and Ken, are two of the nicest guys around. Their vision for the restaurant continues to expand and with each addition the entire experience only gets better. A true gem in the Western Indiana culinary landscape. Can't wait to go back

Bar Bosco is top notch! The entire experience is relaxing and cozy. The staff is superb! We try something different every time we dine, and each time we add a new favorite.
