We ordered our food and when the food came out, the waitress took it to the other table. Set it down, picked it back up and brought it to us ended up our order was wrong. The whole experience. Was bad.

I am writing to share my recent disappointing experience at the Denny’s located at 233 S 3rd St, Terre Haute, IN 47807.
Upon arrival, we were seated and our drink order was taken. However, after this, our waitress left to sit and converse with other employees at a back booth. We had to remind her that we were waiting before she returned to take our order. She eventually brought the food but then disappeared, as did the rest of the staff, for the remainder of our visit. The only time she checked on us was immediately after dropping off our meals. At no point did anyone come by to refill our drinks.
It wasn’t until my husband had to raise his voice for attention that another waitress came out. Instead of being professional, she responded with an attitude, saying: “I guess you need the check?” I confirmed and asked for an iced tea to go.
During this time, my husband used the restroom, which was extremely dirty and unpleasant. When he mentioned this to the waitress, her response was: “Well I’m not a janitor, so …” This was both unprofessional and unacceptable.
The restaurant was not busy (only about three tables occupied), so there was no excuse for the lack of service, dirty restrooms, or unclean tables.
Before leaving, I asked for the franchise owner’s contact information. The employee said, “I don’t know who that is, I just work here.” I then called another Denny’s location across town, where they took my name and number to pass along to the franchisee or district manager. As of this writing, I have not received any follow-up.
This experience was extremely disappointing and far below the standard I expect from Denny’s. I am requesting a response from management regarding this situation and how it will be addressed.

Damn shame whenever the supervisor can't even cook the food correctly didn't even scrape the grill before she put Pancakes on it told they were grill marks when do pancakes have grill marks cheese lump in the eggs 2 teaspoons of gravy this is at 3rd and walnut Terre Haute Indiana

Excellent place to eat . Service is great, especially when they are short staffed. The restaurant is clean. Open 24 hours, so it is perfect for the weary late night travelers

Very quiet, we were pretty much the only 3 people there. I recommend trying their maple donut holes. I think that's what their called. They'll know what you are talking about. They come with cream cheese to dunk them in. OMG they were delish!!

I'd give them 5 stars but I'm a little tough to please. At this location, we found our food was not exactly hot. It was made fresh, so I'm not sure why it was on the cooler side but I Certainly don't think it was the cook or waitress fault. The floors were pretty dirty, but I'm not familiar with the staffing needs either. We had a to go order to take with us that was missing the bacon and they didn't add icing for the cinnamon roll pancakes. That was disappointing after you're gone and don't want to go back. Definitely worth a trip down the road to the privately owned location.

If all you want to do is eat then 👍. Food was good but there's only 2 waitresses so it got kinda hard to get any service after we were served our food but it was entertaining watching the waitresses running around 😆. The dinning area is spacious but it's right next to the kitchen so you can hear the staff having normal conversations. Kinda felt like I was eating in my parents living room while they were hanging out in the kitchen with Uncle Jimmy 😂

My waitress lenora is the best server Iv had in a long time. Vary great place, would recommend people to go to Dennys for the food and the service.
The waitress Lenora was outstanding! Had no issues and really enjoyed the friendly service!

Took my wife and newborn in for a breakfast bite, lady said sit anywhere, so we grabbed a both and waited for over 20 minutes, two other groups came in after us and got drinks, we did not even get eye contact, we left and went to IHOP.
