“This is a delivery review, so I cannot comment on the service or atmosphere. The food seemed like it would be very, very good had the dasher not driven around for roughly 35 minutes with my order! Worst dasher ever. But I can't ding the restaurant for that at all. It makes it very hard to review the food because it was all very cold except for the shake, which was very warm. But I will try. The \"Feel the Burn Burger\" could have used a bit more sauce, because it was pretty dry. That could have very well been because it arrived at room temperature, which causes even a saucy burger to dry up. I wouldn't say this burger had much of a \"burn\", as the name implies. But jalapeños for me aren't much hotter than a pablano pepper. Again, I believe more sauce would have made a difference here. The fries were cold and mushy, but they had very good flavor. They were just so cold they were simply inedible. I just know these were great fries at one point of their existence - what a shame. An interesting cut on the fries as well, which made these very unique fries. The Strawberry Cheesecake Milk Shake tasted really good, but it arrived at room temperature as well. Not overly sweet like other shakes I have tried. Made with really good strawberries too. But a melted shake is just - yuk. While posting this, I was thinking maybe this should be a 4 star review, simply because of the dry burger. But I just don't know. The dasher's terrible, sloth-like delivery speed leaves me feeling like I missed out on a really great meal. So I will give the full 5 stars simply for the thought of how much better this food once was. And the fact this place has only a 3.8 star review makes me feel that they deserve a much better rating than that, simply because I can tell they have great food here. I think this place is fairly new, and someone gave them a 1 star review, which I am certain is just a reviewer being a complete douchebag. I would definitely try this place again, hoping for a much better delivery person. If I were able to go to the restaurant, I'd love to try this place out in person. I bet the food is just amazing.“
“Some of the best food in Terre Haute.I hit up this diner at least once a week. Their specials are awesome, the food is good and always reasonably priced, specifically the Beef Manhattan or Spaghetti with meat sauce. If you want something fancy, this isn't the place for you, but downhome straightforward meals, this is a winner. Also get the blackberry pie. It's fantastic.Parking: If you're hauling a trailer or in an RV park in the closed car wash next door. The parking lot is definitely for passenger vehicles.“
“Food is always excellent except the cook didn't know what a basted egg was. We usually eat dinner there and don't get the breakfast items so it's a little on the pricey side, although we do go for the 55+ pricing but it adds up quick if you have a family. I highly recommend the banana caramel pancakes though!“

“My husband and I tried Metro Diner this morning for the first time! Our food was full of flavor! Our 4-year old son with Down Syndrome was also dining with us and the entire wait staff treated him perfect even when he did want to huddle in their group. We will definitely be back!“
