As a lover of all foods Spanish and Mexican, and having been to Spain once before, I can say that Los Tres Potrillos is the closest to traditional Spanish food that you can get! The atmosphere, the people and the food will take you there!
If you leave this place feeling hungry and unmotivated, it isn’t the fault of the staff. You will feel welcomed and like family while you are here. And my family of five just ate for under $75 and that includes the tip!

Food was good, service was dismal at best. Our waiter hardly spoke English, which I guess is a good thing to those wanting Authentic Mexican, but it made for a very difficult meal. At one point 3 men were at our table trying to figure out that we were saying we wanted queso. They said "chips with cheese," and I was like, "yes, queso." It was a communication crap shoot that ended in us telling our waiter that we no longer wanted the "cheese chips." Only to be delivered something 10 mins after that, 20 mins after we'd ordered it, that looked like something thrown together at the 11th hour by a child trying to play cook at home.
Obviously I'm being very brutal - it's just that I had very high expectations for this restaurant, and maybe we just got everyone on an off night. For that potentiality, I have given the place 2 stars instead of 1. Again, the food was good. The service was like we were speaking two totally different languages, well because we were.

Went as a first fine customer. Suggested by my friend. She has been before. The atmosphere and location are nice. We were placed in a booth. Got the baby margarita which was to be $13.99 when we split the pay it was $7.28 each. No biggie. The issue is the cleanliness and presentation of food. I was given a plate with material stuck to it and hair. When addressing with our waiter they stated the gloves the cook use is what it is from. It was a chunky piece and hair on my plate and the cook was blamed. Nobody does a plate check ? Nobody wipes the rim or double checks before serving ? After ordering our food was out within 10 mins. Very much so rushed and probably why the plate was dirty. When asked if we wanted dessert, we declined and asked for checks etc. as an "oops" your plate was dirty, he offered to bag our food. Ehhh. Food 1/10. The experience was a 3/10. Will not return. .

The food and service are top notch! You never have to wait for a refill on drinks or the chips and salsa! Food is fantastic!!! They restored a beautiful old building that used to be a bank and did a great job with that! Definitely worth the trip!

Terrible customer service! Website says one price, call to clarify they tell you online price is correct. Placed the order online, called to double check time for pick up and was told by the same person I spoke to previously that the price is wrong smh. Refused to honor the online price and price she told me when I called the day before smh. Waste of my time and energy trying to do something special from 3hrs away for my daughter at the university birthday. Definitely won’t be recommending this establishment!
