If you love BBQ, you have to try Rick's Smokehouse BBQ. I go to Rick's when I want to get my fill of delicious protein, fats, and vegetables. I had the Pulled Pork and Baked Beans bowl with a side of green beans and cole slaw. I added chicken wings for additional protein to finish out an awesome meal. Not overly impressed with the food, service or atmosphere. All 3 of us got 1/2 rack of ribs with 2 sides, and 1 meal was delivered to the table 10 minutes before the other 2. They also charged .50 for water. The dining area was dingy and the women's bathroom was 3 feet from the dining area. The meat is cooked on gas cookers instead of wood-fired. If I lived in this area, I wouldn't be a repeat customer.
The staff was very friendly and attentive. I got the 3 meat platter with pulled pork, ribs, and brisket, sith potato salad and hashbrown casserole as my sides. The pork was slightly better than expected, the ribs were average and the potato salad was good. My only complaints are that the hashbrown casserole was just missing something, it was almost bland, it's the only thing I didn't finish.
