“I ordered food for carry out some months ago. The 'bacon' burger(I can't remember it's name) was hands-down the best vegan burger I've ever had, and I've had A LOT of them. It was just utter perfection. I also had fries which were delicious, homemade chocolate chip cookies which were superb, and a very tasty and refreshing lemonade. The spot is minutes from both the outlet mall and the beach. The place was clean and cutely furnished. The person who served me(I believe the owner) was absolutely lovely. I live in Michigan, but I will certainly pop-in anytime I'm passing through, or I may just make a trip to MC specially for this burger. I hope this place sticks around! Highly recommend!”

“My wife and I visit Michigan City a half dozen times each year. We stay at the Blue Chip Hotel Casino. Most of our dining is done on property, but we usually stop for a meal in the area on each trip. Today we found Dune Billies when we searched breakfast near me. We were very fortunate to find this place. We went there on a Friday, and it was very busy but there was a table open. I ordered the Captain's breakfast My wife ordered the French toast with walnuts and bourbon glazed bananas. My breakfast came with brown sausage gravy and biscuits, eggs, and potatoes. I consider myself a biscuits and gravy connoisseur, and this was some of the best I have ever had. My wife made a rookie mistake. she let me try her French toast, and I managed to eat easily 1/3 of her breakfast 😂 although the restaurant was busy, Alex our server managed to take our order and get our breakfast to us very quickly. We always enjoy a visit to Michigan City. Now we will be making Dune Billies a regular stop. Maybe next time we will even take home one of their renowned whole quiches!”

“I live in Chicago and bought a second home in MC about 5 years ago. This is hands down my favorite restaurant in MC!! We’ve been coming for years and have NEVER had a bad experience. In 5 years, I’ve had only 1 refire asked, and the wonderful female GM who’s always there delivered the refire herself to ensure it was right. I have 2 little girls who have now grown to love it too. Even with toddlers they are always so polite and accommodating to us. They really do understand true hospitality, something I don’t often see in Chicago. The wait time has never once gone over (usually 1/2 the quote time). They are a sincere group of people. So refreshing to see these days. I’ve also taken my buddies after a day of work and we will sit in the bar area that is a little more lively and full of TVs. I’ve sat at the actual bar once and made a new friend (random stranger) that travels from New Buffalo because he, like me, simply loves it. They hit on all cylinders. Are there fancier possibly better steaks in the country? Sure… but this place is an AMAZING bang for your buck. Once, my wife and I went, and we love coconut shrimp but didn’t necessarily want an entree of it, the server recommended we do a 6 piece add on as an appetizer, awesome!! They truly have your best interest in mind. So rare to see these days. Thank you Galvestons, you got a regular for life! Management, keep up the great work, it’s clear to us customers you are involved. From the top all the way to the bussers. BTW my favorite is the Prime Rib!! If you go on Friday or Saturday it’s a must try!!”

“I ordered the steak taco dinner and it was amazing. Having traveled from far and was wanting a great place to dine, this Taco on 20 was the absolute great decision. I will definitely be returning when we drive through the area again and will recommend to others! Also, they stayed open after hours for a large party of people and went above and beyond for us.”

“Aliyah was an amazing waitress. It was incredibly busy for a Tuesday night but she kept her head held high! She kept our drinks full and served our food hot. We would love to have her as our server every time!!”

“This woman is an angel in disguise! I needed a sheet cake and cupcakes for my daughter's graduation party. They also had to be dairy free. Plus, I needed it in less than a week. Our original plan fell through at the last minute. My mom contacted several bakeries and they either couldn't facilitate a dairy free cake, or do it on such short notice. Not only was Val willing to accept the challenge, she went above and beyond! She made several trips to different stores to find the perfect colored sprinkles. She and my mom touched base numerous times prior to the party date to make sure everything was going perfectly! She went out of her way to make this cake and cupcakes PERFECT for my daughter! Not only were they beautiful, but they were absolutely delicious! These were the best dairy free cakes we've ever had! The frosting was amazing! We got so many compliments and nobody could believe they were dairy free! That evening we got home from the party, and received a phone call from Val making sure my daughter was happy with the cakes! You just don't get this type of customer service and such personal attention to detail anymore. Without a doubt we will be return customers!! Val, I cannot thank you enough for everything!”

“We had take out tonight for Scartozzi’s for the first time and to say that we were satisfied is an understatement. I was very impressed with the quality, taste, and portions of our food. We tried the chicken alfredo, one with fetuccini and one with bowtie pasta and both were beyond delicious; the cripsy chicken cutlet on top was perfectly cooked and so crispy and juicy and the bread that comes with the pasta is a DREAM. The caesar salad was phenomenal- the dressing and croutons are to die for. Last, we got the cheese bread which as simple as it is, was very delicious. Aside from the food, the atmosphere was so welcoming and cozy from the moment you pull into the parking lot; since it is December the decorations were so festive and beautiful, and everyone was so pleasant and nice. We have already discussed that this place will become a new weekly tradition—please keep being so amazing! Support local small businesses❤️”

“Came here at the recommendation of a good friend was definitely not disappointed. Its a smaller establishment so that was tough to deal with as far as anxiety goes, but we didnt have to wair long to be seated! Dexter aka Spicy White Tuna Roll was our server and he was efficient, friendly, and hilarious! I tried the Dragon Egg (what a masterpiece!) as well as the Autumn Lemon Roll (I LOVE lemon and was quite pleased). You get what you pay for here but it was an awesome sushi time!”
