Aftermath Cidery & Winery

As always, great food, drinks and service. Pickles with Chipotle Ranch & Pear and Prosciutto pizza are a must. Today we tried the pizza of the month the Ruben. Surprisingly it was really good!

This is strictly regarding Thursday Night Trivia.
Several groups all voiced the following.
If one is going to do a theme night Trivia. Please do your homework or find someone who knows the subject.
80's TV theme song night had at least 5 songs of shows were from 60's and 70's . All one has to do is Google top 100 shows made in the 80s.
Then go from there.
The Gilmore Girls was a disgrace.
Only one website was used for questions.
And this particular website had much misinformation. And to continue lying call Jess , Jessie!
How a show that aired 7 years.
Did not have questions about the towns people.
Or the main theme of what the kickoff premise of the show.
That is what colleges Rory dreamed of attending.
Questions about Max Madina .
Population of Stars Hollow.
It was lazy work.
And then after questions . For the host to publicly shame people about their handwriting.
It was rude and very embarrassing those people.
Just because one does not know a show.
Does not mean thorough homework should be avoided.
Especially with multiple resources on the internet.

Food was not good. Basically for a toddler and expensive for what you get. Sad. All dry white wines out of stock except for 2. Very sad experience

My mother in law and I visited aftermath and we had the absolute best time! Mandy and Alaina were so welcoming, friendly, and attentive. We did wine flights, and also taste tested the slushes and everything was delicious. We didn’t get the food, but saw it come out and everything looked really good! Restaurant was clean, dog friendly. I would recommend going here 100%. The service was the most memorable part! Thank you Mandy and Alaina, for making our trip to Valpo amazing!

You cannot go wrong at Aftermath . Great food and drinks in a perfect location. Great service and attentive staff . We go every time we visit Valparaiso.

This review is long overdue...I LOVE Aftermath!! I feel very safe when I come here.I have been coming here for a couple years now. Very nice atmosphere..some nights are more quiet than others..in a good way. I enjoy the earlier days in the week if I want to come in and get some work done or the later days to play singo, trivia, or listen to live music. Sometimes they host a wine and paint night. Small food menu but the food is great. Many drink choices whether it be cider, wine, beer, slushies, and mocktails..there is something for everyone! Very reasonable prices. Staff and owner have always been kind, informative, and respectful. Come give Aftermath a taste. See you there :)

Highly recommend! We stopped in for a sample flight and ordered wood oven pizza 1/2 slice and descent sized pretzel. Delicious!!! Waitress was wonderful. We actually bought a growler to go home with riptide! Don’t pass this one up.

Always above and beyond service! Great food and drinks. Wonderful ambiance. Love this local spot.

LOVE Aftermath! Such a cute place and I love that the front opens up for lots of fresh air. Service is exceptional and we enjoyed both cider and wine flights. Lots of yummy options. We didn't try any slushies or food this time but everything looked really good! Really love that they are family friendly and offer non-alcohol drinks as well!

I've been going to Aftermath Cidery & Winery for years and have taken multiple different friends to try it out while they're in town. I am so embarrassed to have brought a visiting friend here yesterday, as our experience was uncalled for. It was my friend's daughter's birthday and we were going to a concert down the street. At 5pm, we had plenty of time before live music began. I told my friend how much I love Aftermath and we should walk over there for a flight and/or a beer out of the sun, and that would be perfect timing because they closed at 6pm and we would be done by then and would walk right back over to Central Park. We were excited to bring our kids so they could get a fun kid's drink and play a board game for a half hour or so while we talked and had our drinks. It was just after 5pm and we were instantly greeted with attitude and irritated looks by the 2 female closers, and being told that the kitchen is closed. I said no problem, we aren't getting food. The kids wanted to know what drinks they could have, which was Pepsi products or the 3 orange slushies that they already bagged, because they "close in an hour and everything is already broken down and closed for the night." They continued to make comments about closing within the hour, making us uncomfortable, and after the waitress would talk to us at the table, she would go up to the lady behind the counter and whisper to each other. There were a few customers present, and it was mostly dark and quiet. The guy next to us was really nice and telling about different drinks that he likes and what he had, and the waitress on the floor then tells him out loud not to tell us about anything else because they're closing soon. We hadn't even ordered yet. This made my friend feel like such an inconvenience that she didn't want to be there and no longer wanted to order anything, so she didn't. I ordered a glass of wine and my kid ordered a pop that he got in a whiskey glass. Our 3 kids then ordered the to go slushies. My friend's bill for 2 to go, non-alcoholic, orange slushies with crappy customer service: $21. Of course she didn't tip. She didn't have any reason to. I gave a couple dollars for serving my wine and my son's drink in general, but honestly, with the way we were treated, we should have just left without ordering. On the payment screen it asks the customer for a thumbs up or thumbs down regarding the service they received. Before I paid, the waitress said that screen would come up and to just tap "skip" because no one looks at those. I skipped because I just wanted to be done and go, but it was absolutely a thumbs down if I were to answer. I believe my friend put a thumbs down for her experience. The worker then walks behind us to her co-worker and shows the screen and says look at this! and laughed. And then said, "I did good today. At least most people were nice!" (In a loud and sarcastic manner for all to hear) Which was so odd considering she's the one serving customers and had a job to do, but had awful customer service when it came to us. The whole encounter was abnormal and I was truly shocked by the things said and done in front of us or any customer. I know that my friend won't ever want to go back or refer anyone else to try Aftermath. Knowing how I used to love it, I can't say that I won't ever be back but it definitely turned me off for now and I certainly wouldn't care to be served by them again.

We love Aftermath. We stopped in for some drinks and food with a rather large party of 15. We were seated right away and our waitress Sydney was awesome. The cider and wine hit the spot and the Jumbo Pretzels with cheese, Pizzas and So Good Chicken Tenders definitely fill us up. I highly recommend Aftermath

The atmosphere was great and service was excellent.

Didn't get to try the food here, but the ciders were better than most cider places. Bonus for having a cheese plate.
