Grab whatever, it's all great. Just get an extra sweet potato
Grabbed the last Muffuletea when I saw the Facebook post,
Wife had the Rafael Palmero ...daughter took it and said it was a 9.8/10.
Kid-friendliness: ? my kids love the place.

The sandwiches are incredibly delicious and so big they make two meals! They are expertly assembled and the paninis are perfectly crisped. The sweet potato salad is really tasty too. The owners are down to earth and welcoming and I love the creative menu and decor in the shop. We look forward to trying all of their sandwiches but so far we love the Muffaletta (not always available), Mama Fratelli, and Chilmyeonjo.

Great locally owned place, with great people at the helm. Hands down the best muffaletta outside of NOLA. Personal fav, the Momma Fratelli. Simple but absolutely delicious.

This is seriously the best sandwich spot in town.
A beautiful and hidden gem in Valparaiso, and also one of the only places here where food is art. The owners are great, very friendly, and knowledgeable. The family loves it, and this is now in the weekly lunch rotation.

I’m so happy I made the decision to finally try it. I showed up for lunch and got an amazing sandwich that I’ve already recommended to everyone I know. I then noticed the Wagyu they had and boy ohhhhhhh boy. I cooked the Japanese Wagyu up for dinner and it was hands down the best steak I’ve ever had in my life! Don’t think just go check them out!

Great little sandwich/meat shop!! Yeah, it's not downtown, but don't let that stop you from going. It's definitely worth getting!!!It is take-out mostly, but I think you can sit and eat outside of Bait Shop next door.. (Their other place which you DEF should be eating at)

This place is fantastic. The sandwiches are made fresh. My sandwich was a party in my mouth!!! I only live a mile away, and that might be dangerous to my bank account!

The wife and I were on our way to Popeye's for lunch when I remembered a new, dry-aged meat market and sandwich shop located less than a mile from our house.D's Meats and Paninis on Calumet in Valparaiso. Most impressive!Open Wednesday thru Saturday for carry out lunch. She had the "1988 Rafael Palmeiro" a MONSTER of a panini. The crunch from the toasted bread was almost deafening and the freshness and blend of flavors stupendous!I had the "Lake Shore Linda" (comes as TWO croissant sandwiches). As with the panini my wife had the crunch of the toasted croissant was incredible! The chicken salad flavors were wonderfully balanced, a sweet tartness from the cherry the saltiness and other seasonings were... harmonious. They have a VERY yummy sweet potato salad, or chips if you're boring. ?Thank you for a great lunch! ?
