I recently hosted a baby shower for my daughter. The theme was S'more to Love. I ordered S'more cupcakes from Designer Desserts. From the ordering process to the pickup day, the staff was amazing. They provided take home boxes for the cupcakes which was a big hit with the ladies. Of course, the cupcakes were delicious and such a cute addition to our themed shower. Many women made a special point of photographing the dessert table.

*cake topper was on us, the original didn't come on time.* It didn't matter because the cake itself was beautiful. Everyone said it was delicious. We ordered chocolate with the chocolate mousse. Very reasonably priced. I will definitely order from them again.

We had them do our wedding cake and it was awesome. They did great accommodating to our theme. They are awesome to work with and no stress at all. The cakes we chose were very delicious. We had a difficult time choosing what type of cake because all of their cakes are really good and well presented, but they helped us come to a conclusion. They have vegan options and cater to dietary restrictions which is really great. We have been back getting cupcakes several times already whenever we visit Valpo and they never disappoint. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!

We hadn't been to this bakery in a few years...we decided to go get some cupcakes and other treats. A few years ago they had canolli's and we went fairly often just for them, this time none, now all of a sudden they only have them on tuesday...they used to have coconut cream pie cupcakes also, but now those are only on weekends. We never went there on weekends before, only during the week...so I know they had them during the week. So we picked out some. We were very disappointed! For one, the cupcakes are much smaller then they used to be, not worth the price they charge. The cake part in all of them tasted the same and a couple were soggy in the middle from sitting with cream filling in them, they were not fresh like they used to be. The New Yorker was supposed to have what was cheesecake topping...it had a dried skin on it, for lack of a better word that also was not fresh and had been sitting. Some of the cupcakes tasted dry and had no flavor, they actually had the consistency of a box cake. I don't know what happened here but this place is too expensive to be serving this terrible quality. It's too bad but they used to have a quality item...I can't justify spending that much money here again. I hate seeing places putting profit before quality.

One of my favorite dessert spots in valpo! So cute inside & such a fun experience popping in. I have always loved the sugar bomb cookies, the creme brûlée cupcake, as well as the golden Oreo which might be my new favorite. You can’t go wrong with any flavor! There are endless options. I have been coming here for so many years and I still come by every time I visit home!

We ordered a sugar free cake for my parent’s 58th wedding anniversary and it was wonderful! They graciously accommodated my 2 day notice request. The layering and lemon curd filling (filling was not sugar free however) was amazing, everyone loved it, even those who wouldn’t want or need sugar free. Thank you Designer Desserts!
