I attend a veteran’s event here every year (Marine Corps Birthday). We have been doing this for 5+ years now. The owner, bartenders, and entire staff truly do a great job taking care of our event, and the service is always exemplary. The owner and staff genuinely go out of their way to show their appreciation to our Veterans that show up every year. Highly recommend!

We host an annual event for the Marine Corps Birthday. When we lost our last location to host , we approached the staff about hosting it there . They have been great in assisting us to have a great night for the past several years . We regularly meet up there throughout the year for a bite to eat and catch up . I have not had a bad meal there , and the drinks are always on point . It always feels good to support a business that gives back to the community through numerous events they participate in throughout the year.

Duffy's has always been a local get together for our friend group not due to location but due to the atmosphere and staff that run the place. The bar staff and servers are always friendly and attentive. The owner even allows us to host our annual USMC Birthday party out on the deck. This last year we had 60+ attendees and not a single person had a bad experience. We will continue to be patrons of Duffy's and will continue to host our birthday there.

The staff has always been very welcoming, attentive, and quick to help us and make sure we enjoying our evening. Tired of the rude bartenders. Some lady bartender was rude to a recently retired military guy that just said ma’am 3 times. Her back was to him and she assumed he said something rude in which he did not. This was my first time seeing something like this and it will be my last. I will not be returning to a place that allows bartenders to treat military personal active or not this way. I would have understood if he was belligerent but he was not. Very disappointed.

It’s such an amazing place they amazed me again with the services, every time I have been here the staff goes above and beyond for everything, it was such a simple drink “HOT TODDY” (hot water, whiskey and lime) no one in Valpo served me, I tried Franklin house, Martinis & Northside everyone denied to serve me HOT TODDY but again at Duffys place you never get disappointed I got my HOT TODDY, I had my to go bar tenders Nikki and Ben and they served me what I needed, I have been here more than 10000 times and because of this treatment I would coming here for life time, and I would recommend everyone to come here this place is awesome I can’t thank the team of Duffys including all bartenders Ben, Nikki, Daniel, Alec, Mai & Leny all of them I am sorry guys if I have spelled anyone’s name wrong, but I love you guys and would be a life time member, I wish you had Duffys Membership I would be the first one to get it lol.

I came in with 3 friends. We sat at a table and waited a good 15 minutes before we went to get service since the people waiting on us completely ignored us. They're supposed to come to the tables and take our order. No one ever did. We made eye contact several times within that wait so they definitely noticed us there. We ordered 2 beers and left to spend our money somewhere else, more deserving. I'll never go there again. Worse service ever!

If you don't know the bartender it will take forever to get served. Ordered food from home to go pick up and was ignored when I arrived and when I finally got someone attention paid for everything and was told 5 more minutes. 30 minutes later I finally got someone else attention after seeing my dinner sitting there for 20 minutes. Everything was cold. Bad service.
