We sat for 10 minutes with out being greeted or asked for our order when we did ask for help we where given a silly excuse why and then we waited another 7min before our server came back and asked us how we were! Honestly I feel bad for Albanos there pasta and service is amazing the collaborative is not working.

Elements was nice. It was especially lovely to sit outside because the ambiance feels like a patio at a New York eatery. But they had 3 menus and not a lot of options for food except many different tortellini variations. As someone who isnt a red meat eater, I was a bit disappointed by the lack of options. The salmon "starter" was really good but the veggies were hard amd crunchy. I had the chicken tortellini as a main entre and it was really good. I just wish they had more food options. The drinks were perfection so I will definitely come back just to enjoy some good drinks and live music.

Visiting from out of town and trying to find decent restaurants within the Northwest Indiana area is always so difficult, but Albano's always, ALWAYS delivers. I have followed this particular eatery from its start in downtown Chesterton to its own stand-alone place in downtown Valparaiso and now to its new home in collaboration with Elements Wine Bar (again, in downtown Valpo). I haven't had one meal that I would classify as anything less than amazing. His dishes are so beautifully plated and bursting with flavor. THE best Italian in NWI, hands down, and is worth a frequent visit. I'll definitely be back again for another plate of Braised Short-Rib tortellini or Mommy's Meat Balls with a bold glass of cabernet sauvignon. Keep doing what you're doing, Nick!
