This place was everything I was hoping for out of a community minded eatery. I was here for about an hour. The entire time I watched they were busy. The people around here LOVED the food. Folks were coming in non stop to pick up orders, calling continuously to place orders. I noticed a strange phenomenon in which as people were carrying food out others were jumping at the chance to hold the door for them. Until my own food arrived I didn't realize why. J&Js stacks topping on their pizza until they are heavy. The customer culture here just knows that a person carrying a pizza from this place needs a hand with the door. I started this review with that thought because if you are looking for dining ambiance this ain't the place. They have a lot of pinball machines and that's cool but I can tell the owners put priority on food which once you try it you will understand. If you are looking for good pizza try this place, just don't be upset about the wait. The wait is because they are busy. They are busy because they are good. Well worth the wait.

My car broke down while picking up a pizza. The staff members were super nice about me having to leave my car in their parking lot until the next day, and kept their word of but having my vehicle towed. They're always just so nice, kind, and respectful, no matter what your business is there, not to mention, they're pizzas are .. Fire 🔥!! Go and get yourself and family and friends a good old Kitchen Sink, and you'll know what like and think!!

Pizza was cheesy deliciousness! Super friendly staff. Although there was a dining room with many tables, I didn't see anyone dining in,maybe because of the time of day,not sure. They have arcade games which are always fun to play!! Seems like a family atmosphere.

My order was wrong I didn't get the things that I paid for when I called back to the store on two separate occasions the lady was very rude with me and and said to me that the customer is always wrong so I I spent money on food that I'm not even happy with and they didn't offer any resolutions whatsoever because they're so close to closing she told me to deal with it and don't bother ordering from you guys again

I buy from this location on a regular,going in to order. This first x I used the online order it was supposed to have a meat (sausage )I thought I clicked I clicked for stuff crust.I got my pizza 1130pm it was crust with cheese for dinner.So I called the next day to explain what happened they said Sorry didn't happen on our shift nothing we can do it was yesterday. I said are u Serious?This how I'm gonna get treated!I was disappointed by this place.
When you are feeling hungry and don't feel like leaving the house J&J's Pizza Shack is the way to go. We have ordered from them for years now and it's Always a good experience! They offer delivery and there drivers are very punctual, showing up before the quoted time of delivery many times. We get the Stuffed Crust Pizza with Peperoni and Chunk Italian Sausage and it is Always Delicious, Hot and Fresh! The Garlic Bread with Cheese is Amazing too! We are Repeat and Happy customers! Thank you

J and J's in Valpo, imo, screwed a customer big time and didn't care. Here's the story as I understand it. This is from the person who ordered it. They ordered a pizza and it was delivered to the wrong address. The people signed for it and kept the pizza. Then J and J's REFUSED to compensate the buyer, who never got their pizza. Seriously?? Not until the public put it on social media, did J and J's make it right. People were shocked, mad and angry. Shame on you J and J's. I would bet that if the they didn't complain on social media, you would have never given them the pizza they deserved. To me, that shows your total lack of integrity and your complete lack of caring about your customers. I will never step foot in your place again.
