Thank you for saving the day, KupKates! A week ago my soon to be 16 year-old said she wanted a specific Lana Del Rey cake for her birthday party. I sent an email thinking it would be too last minute for a custom cake, but they were super accommodating and did exactly what she wanted. Seven teenage girls’ minds were blown when I pulled that bad boy out after dinner. Made this mom look like a rock star!!!!! You made my daughter’s day. And that cherry filling….. top notch.

My baby shower cake was DELICIOUS. Probably the tastiest cake I’ve had in recent memory. We went with a simple chocolate chocolate combination that was beautiful and moist. Sometimes I think customers want too elaborate of a cake and are shocked when it’s not perfect. Simple and tasty is the way to go!

We got 3 dozen mini cupcakes made for my baby shower and they were extremely dry. Very disappointed for how much we paid. It’s sad to say but grocery store cup cakes tasted better... Save your money and support other local businesses.

Put in an order for Mother’s Day two days prior for cupcakes. Received a message stating my order was ready to pick up at 1pm. When I arrive at the shop they were out of cupcakes and had not filled my order. All I gat was an apology and would I like some cookies instead. What is the point of calling in an order ahead of time to get a message that the order was filled and ready to be picked up and to get there and be told they didn’t see my order. Very disappointing. At the very least I should have been offered complimentary cupcakes to replace my order for the trouble of you not filling my order on Mother’s Day, receiving a message stating they were ready to be picked up, and the inconvenience of me having to drive to the shop to be told we don’t have your order and we are out of cupcakes.
Edit*** I spoke with the owner. She was very receptive to hearing my concern. We talked through the issue and it was resolved. Appreciate the fast response and great customer service. I have been going there for a while and will return as a customer. Thank you Kate
The carrot and banana cake we ordered for my sister's baby shower from KupKates was undeniably delicious. Moist, flavorful, and a hit with everyone at the party. However, we were disappointed that the bakery didn't follow our specific instructions regarding the cake's design. Despite providing a clear picture of what we wanted, the color and overall appearance of the cake didn't match our expectations. While the taste was fantastic, attention to detail was lacking. Hopefully, this feedback helps improve future orders.

My husband and I have ordered a minimum of two cakes per year from kupkates and also many other orders. My husband and first grader went to get some cookies today as a Friday treat. My daughter who is seven was almost in tears bc she had to pee so bad. The worker was rude and told my husband no bathroom for public use. I understand policy but letting a little girl use the bathroom once isn’t that big of a deal. Especially not a big deal that you have to be rude. Sucks to lose a long time customer over a rude employee but we will never be back.
