I went in to purchase a cake on Sunday. I asked the lady 3x if it had nuts in it and she assured me no nuts. Cut it at the party and it was loaded with nuts. Glad no one showed up with a nut allergy. Beware of this place!!!

I ordered a cake and cupcakes from here and I put in not knowing what the outcome would be as a first time customer with a tall order. I wanted a black 2 tier cake and cupcakes to match and didnāt know how it would turn out but it was beautiful and the cakes tasted amazing! Iām very happy that I went with them and will be placing an order again for future events.

I recently ordered 6 dozen cupcakes (3 dozen of two different kinds) for my wedding reception. I am not sure who I spoke with on the phone when I placed my order, but there were so many inaccuracies with my order. The first thing that happened was that the cupcakes were supposed to be picked up in the Valpo location, but they were sent to Winfield. I called, and later was called back by Kate and given a discount for the error. However, once we were actually able to open the cupcakes, the discount only actually covered the fact that one of the flavors I ordered (the one I was personally looking forward to the most) was completely the wrong flavor with not enough time for it to be fixed before the wedding reception. When I did a taste test on the cupcakes before we ordered, we selected KupKates because we liked the flavor over other bakeries. However, after my personal experience ordering from here, I cannot in good conscience recommend them.
This is the best bakery in town. I've tried different things they offer from cupcakes, cookies, and cakes. We ordered my daughter's birthday cake from them and they did an excellent job on the design, and the flavor on the cake was incredible.

I sent an email thinking it would be too last minute for a custom cake, but they were super accommodating and did exactly what she wanted. Seven teenage girlsā minds were blown when I pulled that bad boy out after dinner. Made this mom look like a rock star!!!!! You made my daughterās day. And that cherry fillingā¦.. top notch.
