We are very disappointment in the cake we received for my daughter’s second birthday yesterday. The inspiration pictures that were sent in and the design that was paid for does not even come close or meet the expectations of what was delivered. I ordered and prepaid in full back in August when a 15% off sale was running for custom cake orders. Had I known I would be cheated out of the design I wouldn’t have ordered when I did. $93.50 (AFTER the discount) for an 8 inch, triple layered cake with NO filling for a printed off small Minnie Mouse picture seems totally unfair especially when I was advised over the phone and through Facebook messenger that for the Minnie head to fit a triple layer would be the best size. So not only could this have fit on a single layered cake but I paid for a triple when it wasn’t needed. I have ordered in the past and I have seen KupKates work that’s been posted on their social media and this does not even come close to being a custom cake that was paid for. We are very disappointed and will not be returning. There’s a lot of competition these days in the baking business and this is enough to have us going else where. Here’s the screenshot of cakes that were sent in and here’s the cake that was delivered. I was fully confident after much discussion over the phone and through Facebook messenger that the cake would deliver so we had a family member pick up for us on what is always a busy day for parents trying to host birthday parties but we won’t be making that mistake in the future either.

KupKates did our wedding cake in October. I showed them a picture of what we wanted and they made it look exactly like the photo. It was so pretty and everyone said it was the best wedding cake they’ve had! So easy to work with and did an amazing job. I recommend them 100000%

We went to KupKates for our wedding cake and matching cupcakes. The service we recieved was incredible. Kate came in on her off day for our initial tasting as we wanted to go when my husband's mom was in town for our engagement party and stayed late before the wedding to make sure our order was completed.
I accidentally ordered too few cupcakes for the wedding but didn't know until everything was being picked up. Kate was super accommodating and we were able to purchase an additional 3 dozen of assorted cupcakes.
Everyone loved the cake and cupcakes. We were married on 10/04/25 and almost a month later I'm still having people reach out to take about how delicious our dessert was.
Our cake and cupcakes were also stunning!! Seriously one of the prettiest cakes I've ever seen. I am still so obsessed with it.
We will definitely be using Kate in the future!

I went here to pickup cupcakes. I’m aware that I came in 8 minutes before closing but it’s not like I would be dining in. They just put the cupcakes in a box and collect payment and I’m gone. I walked in and it felt like I was very much bothering them. I’m presuming the owner, larger lady, definitely had mean girl vibes. The young girl was like a lost deer in headlights. The cupcakes aren’t bad. But I won’t be coming back.

I was fortunate enough for a friend to recommend KupKates to me. I walked in right after popcorn fest to order a cake for my husband’s 30th birthday. They were technically closed, but Kate was happy to help me anyways. My daughter got to play with Kate’s daughters while I worked with Kate to order the cake. Kate and her team were amazing bringing a picture I found to life!
Also, this cake was the best cake I’ve ever had!

I went in to purchase a cake on Sunday. I asked the lady 3x if it had nuts in it and she assured me no nuts. Cut it at the party and it was loaded with nuts. Glad no one showed up with a nut allergy. Beware of this place!!!

I wanted a black 2 tier cake and cupcakes to match and didn’t know how it would turn out but it was beautiful and the cakes tasted amazing! I’m very happy that I went with them and will be placing an order again for future events.
