I've been coming here for while now. It's always been pretty laid back when you come in. Really Good prices. great for if your hungry or just really want some chicken compared to other places. They have really good chicken and really good deals. One of best chicken joints in Valparaiso. Every time I've gone the food gets even better honestly. You get your moneys worth then some. Call ahead if you want to order. They make it as soon you order.

I took my wife out to dinner at Louie’s on a Friday at 5:45 pm. This place is right in the middle of the university campus. Their main business is take out, but they do have a couple of tables inside that you can use to eat there.We placed our order and were told that it would take about 20-25 minutes. We grabbed a table, one of three in the building and we were the only people there. While we were waiting for our food, there was a constant flow of people coming there to pick up orders.After a while, approximately 15 minutes, we were served our food. I ordered the chicken sandwich, and my wife ordered the catfish. Both of our meals were served in to go boxes. Both meals were served with French fries.Everything looked crispy and well cooked. The fries had a seasoning powder on them, and it was very tasty. I’m not sure what it was, but it was good.The first thing I noticed about my sandwich is that the piece of chicken was HUGE. This is not a small sandwich. The sandwich was very flavorful, very crispy, and well-seasoned. The bun they used was soft and was a perfect complement to the chicken. Everything about this sandwich was top notch, it could hold its own to any other on the market that I have tried.My wife’s fish was cooked perfectly, she received four large pieces of fish. She could only eat half before she was finished.Overall, this was a great meal, though it was not cheap, it was not expensive either. I will definitely be back.

This place is amazing! In my opinion regions best friend chicken been eating here for years and never once has it been off or bad in anyway! Chicken wings are always huge and seasoned very well nice and crispy and juicy never dry and with the lemon pepper mixed with their sauce ?? to good, deals such as the wedensay 3.99 chicken sandwich and fries deal is almost to good to be true lol it’s massive and delicious, .50 cent wing Tuesday is an amazing deal where can you find amazing big wings for that price these days ? You can here! Also love the shrimp and catfish! As long as this place is in business I will continue supporting them :) oh and wait times are always short 10/10!!

A mostly disappointing experience after reading the good reviews online. Maybe it was just an off day for them. I know the food service industry can be rough. However, here is my review:1). When we got there at around 11:30 a.m. almost all the tables were put up. No biggie We pushed a couple tables together. Just seemed kind of odd and uninviting. And they have a Michigan State Spartans flag displayed. Which is odd since I presume that a lot of their business come from Valparaiso students? Idk. Maybe not.2). The didn’t have any blue cheese dressing despite it being on the menu. Ended up ordering the ranch.3). The food was Luke warm even though we were the only patrons there.4). They forgot our ranch and marinaras dressing. When we went up to ask for it, we had to show the receipt. Even though we’d just ordered it and WERE THE ONLY ONES THERE.5). The catfish and chicken wings were…meh. Not much seasoning and certainly not served hot.6). A couple positives: The fried shrimp were good and the hush puppies were VERY good.So there ya go. Maybe we just hit it on the wrong day? Otherwise, there is no way this is a 4.6/5 establishment. I really want to support this place because it’s a small local business. Maybe I’ll give it a second try to see if it can redeem itself.

All I can say is wow!! Finally got around to trying this place… first of all the hot sauce is fantastic.. one of the best I’ve ever tasted. Secondly, the chicken is fried to perfection.. nice and thin, crispy, full of flavor and the portions are huge! Thank you for the great meal. Will be returning soon

I always have such a great experience when coming in here! The whole staff has always been so kind to me and the owner is amazing! This place needs more recognition imo cause I’ve lived in Valpo my whole life and this is the only place in town where I’ve genuinely really liked the wings! This is THE wing place❤️

Louie Wingz and Catfish is our favorite place to get wings. They are always fresh and hot and larger then the other wing restaurants we have tried. Louie's has the best fried cauliflower and an order isn't complete without homemade hushpuppies. Service is always friendly and very responsive.
