The chef is outstanding as is the service and selections, including seasonal dishes. Best restaurant in NW Indiana by far.

This is a gem of the area. Yes it is, or can be, depending on your choices, a bit pricey compared to some other options nearby, but there will be no comparison on quality. If you're looking for an outstanding dining experience from start to finish this spot has got you covered. Price range includes cocktails, which I can highly recommend their margaritas, without it's in the $30-50 range per person.

We had reservations for 6:45 for party of 5. We were seated at aprox. 6:40. We ordered 3 burger and a mac and cheese. 2 people were sharing a burger. The hamburgers came at 8:15. An hour and a half wait to get the food. The mac and cheese came about 5 minutes later. All three hamburgers had the incorrect condiments. All hamburgers were ordered medium well. One came so raw the waitress was shocked. Having said that the 2 good hamburgers tasted ok but no where near worth $17. They took the raw burger off the table which was still $62. Waste of time and money. I would not recommend this restaurant at all.

Main + Lincoln was fantastic! My husband and I had an incredible experience. The drinks were absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, making it the perfect setting for a night out. Every detail was spot-on, from the food to the service. Highly recommend!

Everything about main and Lincoln is top. Traveling from Chicago this felt like I was still in the city. From the hostess opening the door and knowing exactly who we were for our 7pm reservation, to the waiter being attentive and talkative but not too much, to the food that was delicious. I dream about the tuna and avocado appetizer. The oysters were fresh and delicious. I got the salmon suggested médium by the chef and it had a nice crisp on the outside with Jasmin rice and just a hint of sauce making the perfect combination (a bit too much bok choy). Creme brulee was made by one of the staff and my boyfriend loved it, I'm just not a fan overall. The restaurant is spread out and allows for a quiet dining experience that feels personal. The hostess ran out of roses (it was the day after Valentine's Day) and she found me one to make my night more special.

I've had a stellar dinner here before but my third visit missed the mark. My soup was cold, my server forgot my appetizer, and my dinner was just ok. She took a while to refill drinks and just seemed very nonchalant about my cold soup and missing food.

Main & Lincoln is our favorite restaurant!!!! The atmosphere, staff, food, and drinks are consistently amazing.

We came in for our favorite Amish Chicken Pocatta and they had taken it off the menu for New Years Eve. The replacement Ribeye was burnt to a crisp and was inedible. The Rack of Lamb was raw and inedible. Both plates were full at the end of the meal but no one ask how it was, it was obvious they were not liked. Two ladies were serving the entire restaurant including a 10 top and a group in the PDR. Ticket time for entree was 48 mins. Service was slow and inattentive. Kinda ruined our New Years Eve.

Long overdue review. Main + Lincoln is a solid, consistent restaurant of choice for us. It’s where we bring out of town guests because we know it will always be great service and delicious food. The menu is fairly small, but there is enough variety to find something for everyone. Hands down best on the menu - Amish Chicken Picatta and Grilled Oysters. I typically don’t like oysters, and their grilled oysters are amazing. Anyone we’ve brought there loves these two dishes as well. Great place to sit at the bar and have a drink and appetizer. One of our favorite places in Valpo.

10/10 - Absolutely delicious! Wonderful service and absolutely loved the espresso martinis! Main+Lincoln is absolute quality.

Ordered Pasta Bolognese.I got a bowl of marinara sauce.The waitress said she messed up the order ,will this do ? I tries two bites and this made no sense.She came back to ask how is it ? I said not good. She did take it off the bill .My wife ate her dinner the we went home and I had a sandwich. It took a long time for my wife to get her dinner ,I got no dinner and I saw one group of three come ,never get greeted and leave. I should also mention the menu seems wildly overpriced. I will not be back.

The food here is absolutely delicious! I have many food allergies and the chef/owner was able to customize something to fit my allergies and still make it amazing! As someone with food allergies, I so appreciated how thoroughly and well my server and the chef handled them; I felt completely confident that my food would be both safe for me and amazing. I will definitely make a point of stopping in anytime I’m nearby!

Very nice place. The menu is rather limited, but when you find a dinner you love, you are going to want to go back sometime soon. Love the Ceaser Salad!
