I just moved to the area and was happy to find out about this place. I like to buy fresh seafood every week, but I was very disappointed.
I wouldn’t have minded the price —although it is certainly unnecessarily high. You can drive a little farther to nicer places with a much better selection for the same or better price - but the girl at the front was so rude to me, so the combination of the two concern has made me not want to return.
She overtly behaved like it was a big inconvenience for her for me to be there, really uncomfortable exchange.

Expensive, but the fresh fish and shrimp we have gotten on multiple occasions has been excellent, as well as the cold smoked salmon.
been going there for years. prices slightly on the high end. that being said...the place is impeccable. it's neat, clean, organized. Rob's seafood is always the freshest. I've always had a positive experience shopping there. In fact I usually look forward to it!

I recently moved to Indiana and was afraid I wouldn't be able to find a good fish market. Then I found McGowan & Sons. I called first and asked if they would take an order for clams and mussels. They said yes. Then on December 22nd I drove there. When you first pull in, the parking lot is full, which is a good sign. Then you walk in and there are happy shoppers every where. With staff smiling and helping. The store is clean and there is a variety of fish you can purchase. My order was ready for me. When I served my meal on Christmas Eve, all the mussels and clams opened beautifully. I am always going to go there for my fish. I'm glad I found them and I highly recommend them.
