They’re never open when I drive by at all different times of day. What kind of business runs like that? I wanted to try it but after that and hearing of the horrible customer service, high cost and small portions, no thanks.

I always really want to like Pats, they are locally owned and the creamery they get the ice cream from is really good. But the customer service and customer experience sucks the fun out of the ice cream. The owner is short with customers and makes you feel like you’re an inconvenience. My 6yo asked to sample a flavor and the owners reaction was clearly annoyed. So much so, my 8yo took notice and decided not to ask for a sample. We go here a few times a year because we love the ice cream, but I can’t keep supporting this place. I have never received a smile, a friendly hello, or any appreciation for coming in. Hands down the worst customer experience I can imagine at what should be a fun outing with the family. Finally, The pricing is completely unjustified. The scoops are not full scoops and they nickel and dime you for every sprinkle (literally). The pricing is very high and not worth what you get. Unfortunately, I think we are done with Pats.

We love Pat's. The hand dipped ice cream is so creamy and delicious. This Just Serious + Zanazbar Chocolate + Vanilla = Heaven! Pat is always there serving the ice cream with a smile!

It was awesome because they let you pick any flavor to turn into a milk shake. I ordered the Italian ice and it was a lit more creamy than expected (not sure if they add cream). I do not know why people are saying it's expensive. I say it's average price. Everyone in there was treated nice and had a good attitude. I just wish they had more customer interaction when you first walk in.

She is not friendly and neither her staff. Would not go back especially after the hair inbetted in my waffle cone. Done with that place!

when we finally decided to try we finally found a day they were open and very poor customer service and very pricey for such a small amount ice cream you get so went to valpo velvet after that and that is our go to ice cream place now.

The staff at Pat's Parlor are friendly, but when we asked if they could stick around for their scheduled closing time because we had family meeting us there, they suddenly acted like a bunch of bananas. Without a second thought, they packed up and split 30 minutes early! It was like watching a sitcom where the plot twist is just them closing early for no reason. Not exactly what we expected.
