Stopped in on a Wednesday, live music, good drink and great food.
Tonight was supposed to be a special celebration but instead ended up being a complete disappointment. It is my twins' birthday, and to celebrate their special day we decided to try a couple pizzas from Peddlers Pub here in our city. Unfortunately, the pizzas were not close to being a favorite. We all looked forward to the food given the good reviews and my daughter's recent field trip experience here. We wanted to support and try a new pizza place so this was the restaurant of choice of the birthday girls. One of the pizzas was supposed to be sausage, mushrooms, and green peppers. Whoever was in charge of putting on the toppings missed four slices completely. The second pizza that was sausage and pepperoni was not fresh at all. The cheese was completely stiff with no pull and the pepperoni were dry. It was clear they weren't freshly made pizzas. The order was placed at 8:12 p.m. and it's estimated done time was between 8:57-9:12 p.m. We got notified it was actually done in 24 MINUTES on a busy Saturday night, which includes an order of a special pizza!! I guess I could go on and on, but I won't. I found myself apologizing to my daughters' for a ruined birthday dinner. We will just stick to the restaurants that make their pizzas with love and pride.
Great all round pub, great food and friendly staff well worth a visit
Can’t calculate time for pickup. Waited an hour for 3 pizzas
Food, service and atmosphere was good, not great. Server called me hun and my love. Kinda weird. Valpo downtown was nice.
We Ordered The Olive Oyl salad and The Veggie Rivival + Beckon Desire. This order was pretty pricey, but I don't mind if the pizza hits all points. Unfortunately this missed several of those for us. The salad appeared to be on its last leg. Several bad pieces. Then the main dish. We are Pizza connoisseurs. The cheese or house blend that they use, was so much and really seemed cheap. No good , also didn't hear up well and was not good cold!! So one and done!

The pizza is excellent, with a wide variety of flavors to choose from. You can also create your own pizza by selecting ingredients categorized into dough, sauce, toppings, and cheese type. In addition to pizza, there is a great selection of beers available. Highly recommended!
Carry out or dash this phenomenonal food....because it's a long ass wait for a seat in a smaller than desired dining area...view from the patio to the courthouse....dusk.

Exceptional atmosphere in the downtown historical district of Valparaiso! Featuring live music on Wednesday nights. This place provides high quality pizza at an affordable price. A special place to sit outside during the warmer months. A large bar & family freindly setting make this a great place to share a pizza with family & friends.

We had our wedding reception at Peddlers in September. Carolyn was very accommodating with our requests and easy to work with! The food was fantastic (several pizza varieties including gluten free along with wings and appetizers), and the team running the bar was quick and stayed within our budget! I can’t recommend them enough for large gatherings.

Visiting in town. Tried Peddlers. Cool vibe - would be a great bar to drink & snack. Apps were good & beer list was good. Mixed drinks had good flavor.
But sandwiches and pizza were lacking. Had 2 sandwiches and 2 pizzas. “The Strom” looked the part, but was almost inedible. The cheese was toasted, but meat & sauce were still cool. The sausage had a strange gritty, almost mealy texture. The enchilada pizza was fine, but under seasoned. The Philly sandwich was good, but over cooked. And the build your own pizza was fine, but also not hot throughout.
Hayden was the best server I have made, a atentative smart and knowledge with the menu, recommend him!
