Pesto's is a hidden gem in Valpo. I've been eating here for 25 years and they have literally the best breadsticks on the planet. They are known for their delicious pasta dishes, but they also have amazing pizza! There are a few good pizza spots in Valpo (Greeks!), but honestly next to Giordano's deep dish, Pesto's is my go-to thin crust pizza place! Tip: They don't always bring their bread loaf and oil - ask for it, it's fresh and warm and served with a delicious Balsamic olive oil!

We Love this place. My Favorite is their Chicken Piccata, w,/added Artichokes.....Truly the Best around. The Husband got their Spring Menu dish Rosemary Chicken & Gnocchi - WOW!...So good. The bread and the bread sticks are also fantastic.

We had the seafood Alfredo. It was so tasty. The shrimp and scallops are tender. The coffee is amazing. I have never drank a better cup of coffee. The only small issue was the oil for dipping the bread. They add balsamic vinegar. We asked her to make it with just the seasoning and olive oil, much better. Will go back again and again.

Went for a birthday party. Asked if they had white sangria said yes. She just brought me Moscato with fruit in it. Husband ordered a old fashion it was very watered down and didn't use the right cherries. Toasted ravioli was really good. Calamari was very very chewy hard to eat. Great size portions with everything that everyone ordered. I ordered a pasta with breaded chicken and tomato and basil. Chicken was over done and no sauce what so ever. Husband's pasta with the red sauce was very salty and the Alfredo sauce was very bland. So hit or miss there. Don't think we will be back.
Dinner tonight was awesome. After a not so good experience last time we were there we were hesitant to go back . I’m sorry I forgot our waitresses name but we were seated in the bar area tonight at around 4:30. She was amazing. She listened to our concerns from our last visit and made sure our experience was a great one tonight. We have been coming here for over 7 years now and after tonight I’m comfortable going back!

Great food and service as usual! It was a full house on Friday evening! Recommended!
The food was great ( rich, high-quality Italian food), and our server Cheyenne was on top of her game! Our party of six was able to be seated quickly, as they have ample seating. I ordered the appetizer sampler to split, and it was exactly what I had hoped for... Crispy fried ravioli and mozzarella, buttery garlic shrimp and well prepared calamari. Their Italian beef was really well seasoned and generous amounts of meat. I highly recommend! YUM!On a previous visit I tried their tiramisu and loved that too.
Our family dines in quite often, but we also take out and have delivery. We have been satisfied customers for many years.

1st time visitor: In town for business, stopped in with 2 colleagues.Tuesday night, about 6pm, we were seated immediately.Server was very attentive, and described the specials, which sounded great.I chose the prosciutto-wrapped shrimp skewers...man they were good! One of my colleagues had the osso bucco and was surprised at the size of the plate. Very plentiful. The last colleague had the seafood in vodka sauce and couldn't finish as it was so hearty. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals.

The food was the worst “Italian food” me or my family have ever had we would have had better quality entrees and deserts at Olive Garden for a better value. Save your time and money make pasta at home.
