Phil B's has a very good selection of breakfast and lunch items at an affordable price. The food is delicious and the service is great as well. Atmosphere, well...it is usually really crowded but worth the wait.

Pretty amazing for being attached to a gas station. Pretty good food as well. Of course we had breakfast at lunch so it was pretty busy. But they are very fast and never left my coffee cup dry ;-) it does have an odd entrance with a temporary structure to keep cold wind out. Of course I had lots of food restrictions that they were super at accommodating.

It’s exactly what I’ve been looking for out here! It’s perfectly priced and the food is hot and delicious and the coffee is strong! I have been to many other breakfast places (that may look more aesthetically appealing), but this place blows all of them away!

Even if they're slammed on the weekend, they deliver quality meals and service, every time. Truly a Valpo institution, it seems to me you can always count on Phil-Bs. Traditional diner fare done right - nothing presumptuous, and always generous. The coffee is hot, servers welcoming, and menu straightforward. Also some of the better (if not amongst the best) country style potatoes to have on the side of a plate. And all without breaking the bank, even with inflation. They're hospitable to families, casual dinners, and all kinds of regulars, and I think you'll find them welcoming too.

Wow! This place is awesome! After not being able to be seated promptly, at one of our favorite restaurants in town, we found Phil-B's Cafe. We ordered from the breakfast menu omelettes. Our food was served hot and was very tasty. Our waitress Isabelle was pleasant and very attentive. We always had a full cup of coffee. We are so happy we stumbled upon this restaurant. We will definitely be back!
