There is a reason they were voted one of the best doughnut places in the U.S.Large selection and made fresh daily. 4 star on atmosphere because no place to really sit. I have no idea how anyone would say these doughnuts are small. They are large with generous amounts of different fillings. They are addicting.

By far the absolute best donuts I've ever had.. Chocolate with sprinkles is my go to. But the powdered cinnamon sugar Donuts aka Crack Donuts are irresistible!

Absolutely the worst service. The kids working seemed stoned out of their mind, they didn't know their products, and after all the hype of this place I was SEVERELY disappointed. Apparently the bigger locations are better with more variety and more knowledgeable staff. Paying 10 dollars for 6 donuts is excessive for the lack of experience.Maybe I'll try another location.

I’ve been to Valpo bakery 3 times. Each time the donuts tasted old, dry, flavorless— telltale sign of mass production. The last time there I tried my all time favorite treat, apple fritter. So disappointing. The apple fritter lacked apples and cinnamon, the main flavor ingredients. There were only 2 tiny pieces of apple and barely a hint of cinnamon. Some of the staff could use some training on enthusiasm. A smile and a pleasant greeting would help. Rise and Roll needs to do some serious revamping in order to offer an appetizing product, starting with decent, unadulterated doughs, because the status quo isn’t working.

The flavor is the only thing that's the same about these donuts, they shrunk to about ⅓ the size they originally were, way less filling and they are no longer as fresh. It's a shame because their donuts used to be the best.Edit - we did have our second donuts this morning, they were still fresh the day after. In the peanut butter filled, the filling in these was a more appropriate ratio, so maybe the filling in the cinnamon caramel Bavarian filled was a fluke. However we have been been buying Rise n Roll donuts since they were in the white barn at the farm and they are significantly smaller, not this locations fault, it's the bakery's. I would gladly pay a little bit more for the donuts to be the original size. I appreciate the franchise owners offer to make things right, my suggestion is all that's needed is to pass this feedback on to the bakery.

Never had anything bad from here!! Go early for the best donut selection!! The help is usually very pleasant, however there are a few ladies who are NOT friendly or personable at all.Parking: Plenty of parking around the back!

The product is incredible. Let's get that out of the way first. Yum! The management and staff are wonderful as well. Truly caring about their community and professional to boot. Would definitely recommend.
Fabulous Donut shop! I bought a dozen + a couple to eat in the car. The caramel cinnamon donut does not disappoint. Attentive workers and great energy all around. Seasonal treats are exceptional.

Yes another donut. This time it was the raspberry/apple jelly danish. Mmmmmmm good! However, the lemon jelly is still my fav.
