We are not Chicago-style deep dish pizza experts, but we know what we like, and we really liked the Spicy Italian Beef pie we ordered today. We are full-time travelers, but it's been 4+ years since our last stop in the Chicago area, and we knew exactly what we wanted to gorge ourselves on during this brief stay. Our pie was fresh, cheesy, and flavorful, with a doughy crust. I think the slightly spicy giardiniera blended just right with the slightly sweet tomato sauce. The place was very clean, and were were the only customers on a Friday afternoon in December, so I feel like we played it smart during the pandemic to avoid the lunch rush. Which I do hope they got. One negative: the place smelled of cigarette smoke, which, to be fair, I *think* was drifting in from the establishment next to them in the strip mall. Not much Salvoras can do other than maybe invest in an air purifying system, but I thought I should mention it so that those who are asthmatic or sensitive can order take-out or delivery instead. Our pizza did not taste or smell of cigarette smoke, and we would definitely order it again.

We have eaten here a few times & it’s normally pretty good but it takes 2 hours to get the food, it’s normally always cold, & this last time it wasn’t edible. It was over cooked & you could taste how dirty the grease was in the mozzarella sticks. I will never waste my money here again.

The Italian Beef was great! I got the full size and had half for dinner, and the other half for lunch the next day. It was a good price and reheated well the next day. Today I tried the supreme pizza and also the bruschetta pizza and took them to my brother's for dinner. Everyone enjoyed both, but the supreme was the clear winner. The hand tossed crust was thick and just chewy enough. I will return for sure.

We stumbled upon this gem one night when our Dominos DoorDash was cancelled. The sweet baby Jesus was looking out for us that night. This place is hands down best pie in the region. It is priced with other “gourmet” locations Aureilios etc., however in a different flavor league entirely.

Super friendly staff, the prices were incredibly reasonable and quality of the food was exceptional. Plus the origin of the restaurant is very sweet and heartwarming. The pepperoni pinwheels are one of my favorite appetizers anywhere. Can't recommend enough.
