My husband and I tried Semento's for the first time last night. We were amazed by the entire experience. We were greeted by friendly staff, seated promptly, waitress (Stephanie L) provided excellent service, and the food was hot and delicious!! We ordered an app, my husband had the prime rib, I ordered the patty melt, and we both had a cocktail. Everything was delicious! The music was a little loud but appropriate for the atmosphere. We could still chat and enjoy our meals. The portions were hearty and I took home the leftovers with actual intention of eating later because it was so good! Cost was reasonable for the amount of food we received. Everything was clean, even the restroom. We will definitely return!

I had not been to Sementos in years and my boyfriend had never been so we decided to try it. We are so glad we did! I had the fish and fries and he had the bacon and chicken sandwich on a pretzel bun with fries and both were delicious ! Huge portion of fish and fries that I could not finish but took home. Even though the food was excellent the best part of our experience was the service. Our waitress Tara was absolutely awesome! Highly recommend trying here if you’ve never gone.

Good food in a relaxed environment. It is a bar, so smokey smelling but patio is great.
Just moved to valparaiso from the Hell hole illinois. This bar is 10 min from new house. Been here several times. Food is top notch, servers are friendly and attentive. Bartenders are awesome. Inside is comfortable and makes you feel at home. Outside is awesome, lots of fun things to do overall our #1 spot the unwind.

We walked out of a restaurant across the street from this one, and were pretty hungry. We sat at the bar and ordered medium rare burgers, which were served well-done. Although overcooked, the taste was fine. Perhaps the most unusual thing was that patrons throughout the restaurant were smoking cigarettes. One man seated about four stools down from us smoked four cigarettes in the space of 30 minutes! Apparently smoking is permitted in this type of establishment, because there were ashtrays near every other barstool and on every table.
