People clearly don't go here for the chocolates. I am a chocolate love,r and typically enjoy chocolatiers. The truffle was not even up to the level of a cheap store bought chocolate bar. This place got 2 stars instead of one because the fudge was good, but it had a bad aftertaste.

I went in once on Saturday, and they had food service, but sorta smelled like an attic (like kinda musty). Their iced tea was good, but we bought the pre-boxed chocolate and it tasted not fresh (I mean, it was still good, but I looked at the box after buying, and it had been made back in March, and the date that day was Sept. 5. So pay attention to that.). I decided not to do a review until I tried the chocolate fresh.Today, I went in, and the same teenage girl was working the counter. She was sweet and did a good job explaining the fudge and little details about how she boxed our fresh fudge. My 11 year old daughter said her fudge was 5 stars, and my chocolate was a solid 4 stars, fresh. To the business: Make sure to get a fresher smell in there and watch the dates of your pre-boxed chocolates. To the customers: Expect a regular small town chocolate house, order your chocolate from under the glass, and try the tea. It's really good.P.S. The penny jar is a tip jar. Leave a dollar and make their day!

I was there today and the coffee selection was terrible. Plain regular and plain decaf! Nothing to pick from! Stopped at Blackbird on my way home to buy coffee.
Sorry to say but CLOSED FOR good.
