Almost always busy and you might have to drive around twice to find a parking spot. Suzie will most likely be the person to greet and seat you. Our order was served quickly even though the dining room was busy. I recommend the upgrade to the walnut wheat homemade bread. Save room for a sweet treat. I recommend the pretzel cookie or the double chocolate. Next time I hope to purchase a mousse bite, there weren’t any in the case today. This is my go to place when in Valpo.

We took a group of residents from Brookdale Senior Living to have lunch here and I just wanted to say how refreshing it is to have such a caring business in our community. We are often met with rude management and staff because we need accommodations and we often pay with separate tickets and I know it’s not easy, but not here. I’m very aware of how a business runs and try to be considerate of the challenges from staffing to prep work so I always call ahead and explain what we need and Suzie herself made sure everything was perfect. We were waited on by Kelly and she’s clearly a professional they wanted for nothing, she was on it! The food was SO fresh and presented well everyone loved what they got. These senior citizens deserve to go on outings and enjoy life!!! I just wanted to say thank you from our family to yours, it means so much that you made them feel welcome. ♥️

Very good food n service 👌

I went for the first time a few days ago. The decor is minimal inside but nice. My food was good but I got the in-house bread and it was partially burnt, like black burnt. The middle was soft and good. At check out the cashier was showing me the cinnamon rolls and and she moved the tray and a fly flew off one. I would suggest covering them, especially if they're by the door. I'll come back and try the other thing on the menu I wanted.

The Omelet was great! Pancakes were good too! Prices were excellent!
Ordered two slices of raisin cinnamon bread. Both pieces were totally burnt on one side! Discovered it when I returned home! Very disappointed!

Excellent food and service Mikala was super good ! Owner was very friendly as well . I recommend the cinnamon roll as well as the homemade bread for toast

This is the second time we’ve been here. Both times our server was Tracy. She is the BEST. Her kindness and attention to detail is off the charts and that means so much. Not to mention the food is so good and cant forget the cupcakes ? my new favorite breakfast place ?

Meal options are very affordable and generous. You won't walk away hungry. But if you have room left, check out the fresh pastry case. The sharable cinnamon roll is a favorite to take home.

Tracy was an awesome waitress. She was very attentive and so nice. We so enjoyed our breakfast. Susie’s homemade bread ? is delicious. We were there on a Saturday morning and before my husband parked the car, ? I was sitting with a nice hot cup of coffee. The place was busy but everyone kept the service top notch
