Don't think I've ever had any better servers than the duo last night, they were incredible. The salad was a great starting dish and plentiful for 4. The mains were OK, the portions of the chicken and waffles were huge, yet the chicken was kind of on the bland side. I highly recommend the Porchetta version if it's available, that was fantastic. The filet dish was a little of a let down especially with the cost.

I recently dined at The Bait Shop, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The service was impeccable – attentive, friendly, and perfectly timed without being overbearing.
The food? Simply outstanding. This was hands down the best meal I’ve had in years. Every bite was a masterpiece, with flavors that were perfectly balanced and ingredients that tasted incredibly fresh. The Salmon with Risotto and Bacon Wrapped Filet Mignon was a standout, but honestly, every dish exceeded my expectations.
The ambiance added to the experience, making it a perfect spot for a memorable meal. I can’t recommend this place enough and will definitely be returning soon!

Have dined many times and had a great experience; tonight was truly outstanding. Pairing of Foie Gras with Venison Loin and mushroom sauce was lights out. It takes skill to make wild game delicious and this was spot on. Cocktails were also fantastic (as always). This is a hidden gem in town and in the Region.

This place is a hidden gem in Valparaiso. A must. The food is some of the best in town. The chef doesn’t incredible job of offering a very limited but high-end menu. The beef Wagyu is to die for. All of the sides are delectable. You can see that on this particular evening we had sticky rice that was amazing. The salmon and the potatoes were also phenomenal. Honestly, there’s nothing on the menu that you can go wrong ordering.

YOU MUST GO HERE. This was by far the dining experience I've had in Indiana. Do yourself a favor and go. When a chef is this passionate about their craft, it creates an undeniably otherworldly experience. The food was amazing, the service was amazing, every staff member was on top of their game. Don't sleep on this place, it's a gem.

Selection was very small. Knew that just not that small. Ceasar salad was awsome drinks were desent. Main course 2 salmon not served how described on the paper, server didn't update either. She was super nice and did accommodate on 2 request I had. However neither person likes mushrooms and that was a primary along with a very sweet forward sauce. Fish size was rather small , 1 was thin other thick so cook was not the same. Kinda sad on a sushi grade salmon as it was described. Then the ribeye . Super unfortunate. I love a good one. This was far from it. Came swimming in a gravy definitely not my thing. I asked for a side plate there was such a tail on it. Easily half the pice. Fat had no crisp or char. The bartender brought me a plate and said .. O that's alot . The meat itself was under seasoned and essentially raw. Shame have been several times befor with a good experience. We were the only people dining at the time.
