I had the rainbow sub, which was so flavorful and the veggies were so fresh and delicious! I also had the tonycano coffee and it was just the right balance of sweetness, I'm def getting that again! Oh, and the vegan chocolate chip cookies are awesome!

Uptown Cafe is a spot that I frequent once a year for a month at a time due to my work schedule. I was shocked walking into the establishment this year after not having been able to frequent it due to their closure in Summer of 2024 and having Micah remember the exact drink I had ordered frequently back in 2023. That made me feel right at home. Micah, Tony and the rest of the staff are wonderful, thoughtful, kind, and caring about everyone that walks through their door. I’ve used the space to meet with friends, do work, or read a book and every time I try something new but always return to an espresso tonic of some kind. It’s a wonderful place with innovative drinks and a staff that I wish I could see year round. Thank you to you all for everything you do!

So on my trip to Indiana I had to stop at this place. It was so good that I had grab breakfast before my flight back. The server even remembered my name when I got to the counter. Absolutely in love with their gluten-free/ vegan options. Coffee 10 out of 10. Pastries and breakfast 10 out of 10. The environment is so peaceful and nice that you just want to stay there all day.

This place was awesome. Midge took my order. She was so sweet and helpful as it was my first time going there. First time trying a lox bagel and it was phenomenal. I also got a caramel vanilla iced latte, it was so good. Overall, the best cafe experience I have had Definitely will be going back!
Amazing cafe with a terrific atmosphere and lovely staff. They have a nice large assortment of coffees, teas, baked goods and foods for breakfast and lunch. They also have seasonal drinks and flavors too, and even boba.
It being by a university, you'll find plenty of younger and older people frequenting this cafe, though that simply owes itself to how nice it is there and how good the drinks are. I would say it's the best cafe I've visited so far and one I always plan to stop by when I'm in the area.

Tons of vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. Delicious from scratch food. The best biscuits and gravy in town. Delicious salads. The best soups! Especially the Chicken and wild rice and the Hungarian Mushroom. The staff is awesome, they treat you like family. We try to stop here at least once a week but sometimes, if we're lucky, it's more. (And the scones are to die for!)

The service was super friendly! And it's a good spot to just sit and drink coffee while catching up with a friend or for working. I got an iced chai latte which was kind of watery, but the sandwhich I got was delicious! Next time when I go I think I'm going to check out their specialty drinks menu to try something different! :)
