“Buffet, usually pretty well maintained but this time food was undercooked and made me sick all night and into next day. Service was good. The same as usual. Cleanliness was well maintained. Prices comparable to other places with all you can eat buffets.“

“Our class (South Knox.1989) held our 35th reunion dinner at Vincennes, Indiana Old Chicago Pizza + Tap Room Upstairs Reception on October 5. Valerie and her staff were “lights out” good. From helping me to plan for menu in advance through adjusting head count and menu in the final 24 hours. The facility has excellent off street parking in adjacent public lots. The upstairs reception room was secluded, with multiple TV monitors, dedicated restrooms and separate bar service. The food was excellent and right on time. Pricing for facility and menu items was average for our area. Valerie and Old Chicago provided a fantastic and memorable evening for our class Conway Cox South Knox Class of 1989“

“This location is suffering organizational struggles that is shown in customer care and restaurant managment. There is definitely a need for staffing and efficiency. the bartender was worn out. Some of the servers were just going through the motions. The restaurant vibe was diminished compared to the standard upbeat with pop music playing and happy staffers enoying their shift. Majority has to due with the clientele, but it is what it is. I ordered the new dish of bourbon street chicken and andouille sausage penne. It was clashing a bit as the chicken has a more of a cilantro and lime, the cajun alfredo was watery and the andouille sausage was bit sized and maybe a quarter link added to the dish. What really saved the dish was the extra hot buffalo bonless wings. It elevated all the flavors to make a desirable dish that I will be having again in the same order. It wasn't what i was expecting and I finished my plate.
