Not worth the price & hassle. The room was clean that’s the only positive I can share. The room come with a vouchure for either a free scope of icecream or wine tasting. Since I’m pregnant, I opted for the freezer burn solid watered down milk they called “ice cream.” After one bite, the container was placed in the room freezer. My husband who love food couldn’t even stomach it. We opted to purchase a 2 can dine for $50 at the Twenty restaurant. What a major let down!!! Cute decor building horrible service and food options. If you like wilted soggy lettuce then try the salad you may like it. Don’t bother asking waitress Tia any questions as you will be told “just google it” in response to questions about the menu. My husband ordered shrimp scampi, more like piss scampi. The shrimp was over cooked and chewy. I order the breaded chicken with the sauce on the side and Mac n cheese. The chicken arrives coated in sauce. The waitress deliver my plate acknowledging the sauce was suppose to be on the side yet told me to try it you might like it. She proceeded to stand and stare at me to try it. I took one small bite and almost puked. She said oh well I was pregnant I puked all the time. I then scraped the gravy puke off and tried to eat the soggy chicken. I then tried the cold as a brick Mac n cheese. We had to flag down a different waitress and share our disappointment. That waitress was lovely and could tell the food was cold and the chicken was how I requested. I was quickly brought a new plate that was in sync with what I ordered. The food wasn’t edible. My husband took a few bites and we stuff the rest in a to go container and it also was left in the room fridge. Our billed totaled $47. The waitress never told us that we handing gone over the $50 coupon or asked if we wanted to order something else. A manger never greeted or checked in with our table. It was one disappointed after another. Everything is pretty much closed Sunday in the itty bitty town. If you’re looking for a true luxury couple get away check out Harmony Inn or West Baldwin in southern Indiana or the many places in Hamilton County. This place it a waste of money.

Beautiful historic building. The rooms have been modernized but kept the charm of the history. Comfortable bedding, very friendly and helpful staff. Lived having the wine bar, restaurant and ice cream and candy store in the building. Staff in those shops were also wonderful.

Beautiful hotel! This little shop was quaint and had a nice variety of chocolates and a few of the popular ice cream flavours. A must visit if you’re in downtown Wabash.

Fabulous hotel right next to the Honeywell Centre. Immaculately clean and friendly. They went above and beyond in customer care ensuring that I had returned after an evening out, loaning me a mini fridge/freezer and microwave and making sure that I would get back to Fort Wayne airport. Essential is a visit to the Wine and Cheese shop where you are guaranteed a warm welcome by Jake. Thank you all

Arrived to friendly check in however the folks at the desk do not know much about the area in terms of restaurants etc. Free parking right next door. My room was on the third floor quite a nice giant bathroom for getting ready in the morning. Very comfortable beds daily refresh of towels and the bed is made up. Great library area on the second floor for typing reports getting a little work done. Fun wine store and candy store in the lobby. Odd on breakfast during weekdays, restaurant doesn't open till 10:00 a.m. so you have to find something nearby I did find a little diner a few blocks away that was walkable. No workout facility or pool however they do allow you to visit the local YMCA. The downtown area of Wabash is well restored and very clean however it is on a state highway and there is constant semi truck traffic on very narrow city streets. And in the evening people with loud motorcycles and loud cars like to drive downtown can get very bothersome. Very nice old theater across the street popped over for an evening movie.

My husband and I met there for the week-end due to his out of town schedule. It was a perfect location - we enjoyed beer tasting in the wine shop and had dinner at the Restaurant which was outstanding. Later in the evening we visited the lounge and listened to live music while enjoyed conversations with the staff. The next morning breakfast at the restaurant again did not disappoint. We enjoyed ourselves immensely and plan to return.

Above expectations. Absolutely beautiful & comfortable. Spacious rooms. Staff very polite & helpful. The restaurant was charming. Delicious food. Once again staff courteous. My husband ordered out of the ordinary & his request was met with a positive & pleasant response. Can't wait to go back again S22

We spent one night at the hotel and the service was very good. We were given a coupon for four scoops of ice cream to be used at the soda shop in the hotel and also two cookies for direct booking. Our room was large and well appointed. They advertise that they are a boutique hotel and we agree!

Lovely hotel, friendly staff. Woke up at 2 am very hot and could not adjust aircon temp down. Reported it to front desk the following morning after staying awake all night, and someone came to room and verified it was not functional and asked if I wanted a maintenance call. I said no point as I would be checking out soon. Dinner was average and pricey $29 for strip loin. Brocolli was chargrilled but raw. Breakfast was good. I asked for a walk in shower when reserving as I have a knee injury but got a bathtub/shower. Same person who checked on ac checked me out and did not offer a discount or referral to a Manager nor a reasonable explanation for air con not being operational. It would beg the question “do they know about these issues and just ignore them”?. I didn’t have a shower as couldn’t negotiate the bathtub so can’t address the “no hot water issue”. I feel if they offered me some kind of discount I would have rated them higher for respecting me as a potentially returning customer. Pillows under pillow cases were yellow which was very nasty. Need to have protective waterproof covers over pillows. Costco kirkwood coffee in room. Cheap curtains that would not open fully to enjoy the street view as they were strung so tight on the curtain pole. Windows would only open a few inches from bottom up. Hotel is being run on a low budget. Sorry, as another viewer said I really wanted it to be a great experience but probably would not return.

Excellent selection of vintage and specialty candy and sodas. Plenty of country themed chachki, clothes and unique toys too.

We are now frequent flyers on the "no hot water" plan at the Charley Creek Inn. No longer an excuse for this and I'm tired of the lame excuses and shoulder shrugging about the problem. A beautiful hotel that cannot deliver hot water to your room because "you didn't get up early enough" is just wrong. This place is not cheap and guests deserve better. No more...

Beautifully restored hotel! Very interesting history! Reasonably priced! Service was excellent! We felt like we were at the Palmer House in Chicago! But only 50 mins from home not 3 hours! Looks like Wabash has some real gems we didn’t know about! We will definitely visit again!

I can't tell you how much I wanted to love this property. Easy to park, easy to check in. Wonderful lobby and atmosphere. Clean, classy and great service. They even gave me an opportunity for a free wine tasting at the wine store near lobby. There is also a candy shop and an amazing restaurant on site (I'll review separately, but loved it!). So, we checked into our room. Very clean, no musty smells, a few antique pieces and just the perfect size. The bed wasn't very supportive, but absolutely adequate and clean. Housekeeping even brought up extra pillows!! I had requested this online, but have never had staff remember to actually bring them at other properties. So we settled in, then went to dinner and a concert at the very nearby Honeywell Center. After a wonderful evening, went back to our room to relax. The Temperature was easy to adjust but there was no where close to the bed to plug in my phone to charge. Wifi was great too. Had a good sleep. We got up around 830 or so to get showered and ready to go to breakfast in the restaurant. My husband got out of the bathroom and said the shower didn't work. I went in...............NO HOT water, not even lukewarm. I could have possibly tolerated this at a paid camping site, but a $189 a night hotel?? NOPE. Remember those green gardening cans you watered your flowers with?? That had more pressure than the shower......................I told front desk at check out but they said nothing nor acted like this was even an issue. I wish I could say we will drive another 2.5 hours to see a show and stay at this hotel again, but cannot risk not being able to shower in a hotel in the morning. I will drive that far again for the honeywell center, that place is wonderful and trust me, worth it. I would love to return to this property if they can find a solution to the lack of pressure and hot water.............so sad. What potential this place has!!

One of the best and most luxurious establishments that I have been in, found in the small town of Wabash nonetheless! The candy ranges from fine chocolates, such as DeBrand, all the way to any and all gobstoppers, gummies, and sweets a child could dream of. I have recently heard that the candy shop is under new management and got a makeover, and might I say, the business appears to be in great shape! I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a fun, affordable, and nostalgic evening in Wabash!
