“our favorite place to eat, have been here many times. Came in town for a concert and made reservations over a week ago, when we got there, no reservation had been kept. The girl was extremely rude and I asked why we made a reservation and it was not kept. She rudely stated we have been busy and haven't had a chance to put any reservations down on the tables, not sure how that happens. I was basically in shock at how rude she was, never had that happen before, really disappointed. I felt like I was in the Seinfeld episode, " You know how to take a reservation, but you don't know how to keep one?"”

“We had the pleasure of meeting Ella and Kensie at a wedding recently. They were in charge of the food. We got a chance to speak to them and they told us they work here at Moon Dog. We had a rare Thursday off, so we decided to pay them a visit. Both girls are absolutely lovely human beings! They were so kind, professional and wonderful! Their service was top notch. The food and drinks were outstanding! And what an amazing atmosphere!!!”

I love their creative Lotus drinks and enjoy that they play with various matcha and chai flavor pairings. Their homemade goodies are tasty as well. A popular place for good drinks, local history, and a friendly atmosphere. You’ve got to check out their stellar rotating window decorations, too!”

Anyway, a hole-in-the-wall small town ice cream shack like this is quintessential Midwest Americana. They offer a large flavor variety to compliment riding your bike around town, marrying your high school sweetheart, shooting pool at the local dive bar, or whichever one of life's iconic moments you choose. If John Hughes were still making movies and this existed in Chicago, I'm sure he'd write this great dessert establishment into the plot.”

“I will say, the food was great! BUT they delivered the wrong pizza (people make mistakes it’s fine) so I call and let them know they say ok we will remake and deliver it (again I appreciate that) BUT as we waited the extra half hour for it to be brought back I picked off the stuff the kids don’t like b/c they were hungry. Driver gets here and says there making me take back the old pizza.. WHAT?! I mean whatever take it back but why exactly? So you can just toss it in the trash? I said uhm ok but a couple pieces are missing bc we had to wait and kids were hungry.. the driver was so nice, she was so nice! But that’s just crazy! Taking back the pizza that YOU messed up so we had to wait another half hr or so. Again food was good but that’s just crazy to take your mess up back.”

“Growing up and living in Ann Arbor Michigan for fifty years I can remember the Ilich family having very few but really good pizzerias. Through the years they grew but in the last twenty years or so the quality suffered and I stopped going. Since they've opened I've been wanting to give them a try and I'm really glad I did. I got a little trip down memory lane and a smile on my face. This pizza literally brought back the memories of what their pizza used to be. I know it's just pizza but this is one of the best pies I've had in a long time. Thanks guys and keep it up. I guess I'll have to start getting pizza a little bit more often and this is my go to spot.😉”

“This was one of the best meals I’ve had in a really long time. I had the prime rib hash. My wife had a traditional bacon and eggs breakfast and we split a serving of the stuffed French toast. Everything was excellent, and the French toast was spectacular We drove an hour and a half to have brunch at this restaurant, and it was certainly worth the effort”

“I said yes, that I recommend, but this is the first time I have been disappointed with my order. Went thru the drive thru. They were very quick to get my order out. I ordered a 2 pc combo with a thigh and leg. I got home and I had a very, very dry piece of breast meat and a leg that looked half eaten. Mashed potatoes and slaw were great. I couldn't finish the breast meat because it was just to hard to swallow. Service was great though!!”

We had a very large order and after contacting the manager the next day they made it right. Every business is going to make a mistake it’s how they handle it. That makes a difference.”
