“It's a small town cafe, with a small town feel. Very friendly, fast, and courteous service.I've eaten lunch, but mostly breakfast and enjoyed everything I've tried there. Breaded tenderloin is awesome, but the omelettes are ginormous, filling, and taste great. I can't knock anything on this place, give it a shot.”
“During baseball season and football season we are here once a week sometimes. We love it and everyone is always so kind. Ask for the Cooper Subway Sandwich. If that tells you how much we love it.Dietary restrictions: Plenty to pick from even great saladsParking: Plenty of parkingKid-friendliness: Absolutely kids love it here.”
“Adorable place with such cheerful service. You can tell they LOVE what they do. Paninis were full of meat and cheese and the bread was delicious, soft with a good crunch. Chicken Enchilada soup was very flavorful and my drink. If you are a fountain drink lover, this is the place for you. Fabulous Coca Cola with the small crushed ice! Yum!”
“I’m not usually a seafood fan. My husband had gone to this restaurant for lunch and couldn’t wait to take me for supper. We walked in and were greeted by the waiter and he made me feel like an old friend that he hadn’t seen in years. The food…. THE FOOD!!!! Sooo delicious!I had perch, shrimp, fries, hush puppies (I haven’t had these for a really long time and was excited to try them) and the best garlic Texas toast.I can’t wait to go back. I highly recommend this restaurant, great place to eat!Kid-friendliness: I had my two granddaughters ( ages 10 & 6) with us. In our family, when it is your birthday you get to choose where you get to eat your birthday dinner. Both girls said that they wanted to come here for their birthday dinner.”
“My kids and I look forward to every trip here! The treats are delicious, the staff are welcoming, and the atmosphere is just so calm and happy. The staff are friendly, and patient while helping my kids make their selections!”
“He has remodeled this place to look like it originally did (SUPER close) but I ordered a catfish sandwich and sweet potato fries. Amazing crunch on the fish and the sandwich was huge I had to unhinge my jaw so to speak to take a bite. The fries crunchy and a salty sweet flavor with carmel glaze and I think cinnamon. It was so good! I had lunch and dessert really. The sandwich was great but those sweet potato fries OMG I would go get a double order just to have. The owners are nice and sweet I'm glad their outside my building I can walk to get lunch. Very comfortable small and quiet atmosphere just what you need to relax on lunch. I will be back very soon!”
“We got 2 fish baskets to go. Haven't been here in years-glad we made it back. The fish was very good & they give you plenty. The only negative comment was the prices. The dinner didn't come with any sides- we had to pay extra for ff & cole slaw. It was $38 for 2 of us.”
“I recently stopped in to order a pizza to go. The bartender was pleasant and helped me with the menu. The cool was very friendly. It took 15 minutes to make my pizza. It was delicious. I’ll definitely be back again.”
“Just had a very nice experience with the Marion sister location (who is set up as a "person" instead of business on fb), Imagine Burgers Express Grubhub didn't have a driver available so an employer brought me the food himself!”
“I always enjoy eating at Culver's. I honestly believe that their chicken sandwiches and chicken strips are way better than any other restaurant around (they are better than Chick-fil-A also). The variety in shakes are great, too. This Culver's location is one of my favorite restaurants to visit.”
“We drive from Anderson, IN to enjoy the fish dinner and ice cream! Never disappointed. Wish they were open year around! Super clean, great service and food is cooked fresh when ordered. 10 stars!”
“We've only been once, but the food was wonderful and the owner fantastic! He took us on a house tour and shared fascinating information about the engineering/architecture, design, materials and history of the building. He is delightful! Our server was very casual (in dress & manner--a bit odd in a more formal setting), but provided what we needed.”
“The place is a small quaint restaurant. Service was top-notch, and the food was excellent. It was like eating home cooked food. I highly recommend this place for breakfast. I had the blueberry pancakes with bacon and the wife had fried potatoes with sausage gravy with scrambled eggs and a biscuit.”
“I just love this please . Their BBQ is amazing and so flavorful. My wife and myself always get the 3 meats and 3 sides platter. It comes with a lot of food.Their collard greens are one of the best I've had in my life and I've had plenty. Their brisket is amazing. They don't give you the fatty brisket they give you the good stuff. Ribs are also spectacular. Their BBQ sauce is on point. I didn't get it this time but their green apple slushy is pretty good also. Service is fast and friendly. They have live music some days which is nice. Thank me later because their BBQ will always bring you back”
“We had the Jeff Buffet. The pulled pork and brisket were the best I'd ever had! All the food was great. The service and setup were very smooth and quick. Our catered meal was a success.”
“I am working in the area and El Taco has become a part of our weekly routine. The homemade chips are always fresh and a little queso blanco takes them from really good to great.I am a boring eater so honestly I usually eat a burrito asada and it consistently comes out great.Service is definately a highlight though, as our orders are always taken quickly. Drinks, chips, and our meals arrive quickly also and drinks are monitored well for refills. The place is in a small, multibusiness building so it is pretty authentic Mexico and not the production we are accustomed to in the typical Mexican restaurant.Worth being a repeat customer.”
“Loved having lunch here. I ordered the 8” pizza - thin crust - with Hamburger, Green Olives & Red Onion. Delicious as well as a great size for me to finish. I also got a sweet tea as well as a garden salad. (Trying to be healthy) The service - even with a large group in the building - was top notch. I’d recommend eating here anytime. Restaurant and bathroom was clean, so that’s a plus.”
“This business is closed. We visited this morning and someone came out to our car and told us they had to close but they could order coffee beans. We went to Lola's Inn and enjoyed a wonderful experience.”
“I walked in with two kids just minutes before 6:30. I had checked hours on Maps and they are listed at 8/9pm Tuesday-Thursday, but they had a sign on the door that I missed stating that closing is actually 6:30pm Tuesday-Thursday. I felt so bad for the guy behind the counter, but JoRel was so kind, patient, and accommodating. He spent time making sure the kids got want they wanted and even showed some creativity for the kid that wanted chocolate syrup on a cone. His solution saved my car since we obviously took it to go, but JoRel never made us feel rushed. I wish I would have been aware of the updated hours, but JoRel (and the great ice-cream) made it a good experience.Kid-friendliness: Very patient staff when ordering with kids that are shaky on what to get :)”
“Great food, friendly bartender, and pull tabs. The wings and pork chops were phenomenal. The locals were friendly and accepting of out- of -towners. I will take a 4 hour drive to go back.”
“They are always done in good time if they don't have something they have no problem substituting. Their food is always so goodWheelchair accessibility: Unfortunately it is a little away from the door but it's worth it”
“Service was good. Biscuits and gravy were good, but needed to be warmed up. They do NOT serve any meatloaf so disregard that picture above. Basically breakfast items only. For those who need to know, this is a bar and there is a slight smell of cigarettes inside. I assume they allow smoking. No children may enter.”
“What a nice surprise, after living/moving to Wabash a couple of years ago. There aren't as many "finer" dining options since we left Fort Wayne and it is nice to have another "nicer" option nearby. Excellent service (Tim was wonderful), the bar staff and the chef came to our table multiple times to ensure everything was to our liking. Beautiful location/building and a good local vibe - and if you are into having a nice meal/environment and watching some sports, I could see it being a good spot for that. There were four of us, who are pretty picky when it comes to dining options, and none of us had a complaint, which is pretty rare :).”
“Food was fantastic took a while waiting on the food but it was sure good and it was hot. Plus they serve large portions so if you can't eat it all you can take it home and enjoy it again!Parking: The parking is just the regular parking like you find at cracker barrel or such.”
“Very hospital, friendly. Even though they were having a company Christmas party. They went out of their way to get a bottle of water for me because they had run out!”
“Best coffee in Marion, every employee I've encountered has been great! Patient, helpful and efficient. They have a limited selection of goodies to eat, all of which has been delicious.”
“Food is awesome! There was a VERY elderly man eating alone. I observed the staff being extra nice to him and making sure he was being well cared for. I was impressed.”
“This food was GREAT! My daughter is at IWU and had heard great things - we were not disappointed. Tom Kah was spot on, and the new Satay stir fry was exceptional - I could eat that every day. My daughter was thrilled with the fried rice and the spice levels were perfect. Thanks for the student discount too!”
“This place is truely a gem it's well worth going out of your way for.To add to the fun, park on 400 at the trailhead and walk exactly one mile down the sweester switch trail to the ice cream shop and then walk a mile back to your car. Beautiful sights to see on the walk.”
