Have not been here in over a year. The last time we visited Mi Pueblo, the food was good and hot, but, today we decided to try it out again. Bad decision, the food was lukewarm and the salsa tasted like canned tomato sauce, with no flavor or spice. The booth that we were seated in had a bad rip in the seat. Very disappointed 😔. Was looking forward to a great meal.

Ate the Monday evening special of Arroz con Pollo and it was very good, with left overs for lunch. They brought two different salsas to the table. One w/o cilantro (but quite spicey) and the other was regular (chunky with onion & cilantro). Mi Pueblo in Wabash.

Although I think our waiter was having a bit of a bad day, our food was totally awesome & the restaurant itself was very nice. I ordered the Taquitos Mexicanos. It's a very simple dish, 4 flour tortilla shells deep fried with seasoned chicken severed on a plate of lettuce with pica, guacamole & sour cream. The chicken in the deep fried shells was excellent. It wasn't just very tasty, but also very juicy & delightful. I recommend it.
The good...Horchata was amazing! Food was incredible, fast and fresh! The bad...service was HORRIBLE! He never smiled, he didn't speak AT ALL! Came with his tablet to wrote down orders, came back and handed food and that's it. The bathrooms were a mess and we were there around 9 and we were 1 of 2 tables left and the waiter, bus people and host sat in a both across from us watching and waiting to clean our table off. They were moping with some really bad smelling cleaner while we ate. Not a good experience at all!

The atmosphere was inviting, but the service was horrible; I would be embarrassed to employ this young man (our waiter). He was sitting down and on his phone the entire time. We ordered guacamole but didn't have chips to eat it. We left instead to eat lunch somewhere else. I feel sorry for the owners. I'm sure they expect more from their staff. I'm pretty sure we won't go back.

This place is by far one of the best Mexican places around. Always friendly and food comes out in the right amount of time! Only complaint I have is the seats could use some TLC.

Food was not bad at all, the service needed TLC. If you don't want to ask how your meal is, do you need anything or just in passing check on your table, please don't wait tables. We must have had a dud in the bar seating. Won't be back. One and done. Also, would have been nice if you told us to pay up front rather than ignoring us!
