So I’m standing in line behind this guy, and he confidently says: “I’ll have The Sean.”
I’m scanning the menu like I’m deciphering the Dead Sea Scrolls—no sign of The Sean anywhere. Must be one of those hush-hush secret menu deals they only tell you about if you know the handshake or have sworn an oath.
Naturally, when it’s my turn, I lean in and say, “I’ll have The Sean,” like I’m ordering off some underground smoothie cartel.
What did I get? A frozen blueberry protein shake that tastes like winter fell in love with a blueberry farm and they eloped in a blender. It’s so smooth and frosty it’s basically blueberry ice cream that went to the gym and got swole.
Honestly, drinking it felt like I was cheating on my diet with my diet. It’s the kind of shake that convinces you you’re being healthy while your tastebuds throw a rave.
Bottom line: The Sean is too good to be a secret. Hey Modocs—put it on the menu so everyone can enjoy the magic!

As someone who doesn’t like coffee or chocolate, that typically limits my “fun” drinks at local coffee shops—not the case at Modoc’s! I love their creative Lotus drinks and enjoy that they play with various matcha and chai flavor pairings. Their homemade goodies are tasty as well. A popular place for good drinks, local history, and a friendly atmosphere. You’ve got to check out their stellar rotating window decorations, too!
Modoc's is a fun coffee shop. It offers much more than coffee. There are quiches, fresh pumpkin bread, scones, muffins, parfaits, egg salad, fresh fruit, smoothies, and more. My young girls love going for the smoothies, the bread, and the ever changing atmosphere.
Modocs has the best selection of drinks and their baked goods are always tasty! The staff is extremely kind and patient as you t try not decide which of the many amazing options you want! There’s also plenty of seating for meeting up with people or working.
Excellent coffee and friendly service!
Love this place, the best service ❤️
Visit this place every time we come to town

I was in Wabash for 3 days and went to Modoc's every morning when it opened. Good coffee, served quickly, and plenty of comfortable places to sit and write.
Wonderful place for coffee and a treat. Fun elephant themed derived for the true story of an escaped elephant.

The green tea was really good! Great service, just sad we didn’t get to try any hot food, it’s only served 11-1 and we got there at 2 :(

Named after a famous elephant, Modoc, that ran a rampage through the town of Wabash! The store has an interesting elephant decor theme, with lots of cozy seating or tables for studying. The staff was friendly and quickly made everyone's drinks. Definitely will be going back!
