First time visiting here today Friday October 17th. I had the salmon pasta which was delicious! Salmon cooked perfectly. We also had a mixed bread plate appetizer I guess you could call it. It had some jalapenos in it I believe as well as cheese. There was also some cinnamon bread which I could eat on a daily basis. I'd compare it to an elephant ear but a million times better. The menu is on a marker board near the bar. It's not a huge menu but sometimes that's better. I'm assuming it's a changing type but I don't know. Definitely worth a stop in.

We had the pleasure of meeting Ella and Kensie at a wedding recently. They were in charge of the food. We got a chance to speak to them and they told us they work here at Moon Dog. We had a rare Thursday off, so we decided to pay them a visit. Both girls are absolutely lovely human beings! They were so kind, professional and wonderful! Their service was top notch. The food and drinks were outstanding! And what an amazing atmosphere!!!

This is the best restaurant/bar in Wabash and its collar counties, hands down. Great atmosphere, delicious home cooked and locally sourced food. I asked, they personally buy their food and don’t use restaurant service providers. There isn’t a menu at the table, but they have an ever updated single chalkboard menu. (, that includes filet mignon pasta, grilled salmon dishes as the most expensive items less than $25, spring roll bowls, salads, soups, charcuterie boards, lasagna, daily fresh homemade bread and moonball truffles. What makes this place great, and why it has such a great loyal customer base, is that you can feel safe ( they are careful stewards of bar etiquette), the staff are happy, the mother and son owners have touched on the family values of the community. If there is something wrong, they will make it right. Non-smoking comfortable and welcoming gem of Wabash. I live in Michigan but when I’m down here, this is where I feel like I’m home. First time in since moving to IN and was SO disappointed. Customer service is EVERYTHING Logan (I think that’s his name) was the most unfriendly bartender🥴 and if I’ve heard right- he’s part owner too. He should NOT be customer facing lol. I felt like we were wasting his time while supporting their business. Space was larger than I expected and our app was good. We were never given drink menus so I didn’t know they offered fun drinks! Will not be returning, I’ll enjoy the other establishments in town
Moon Dog is a must while visiting Wabash. Came for the Tom Papa show and this place was an absolute gem! Highly recommend the smoked old fashion, spicy whiskey margarita, the breads, lasagna & the salmon arugula salad & for a tasty alcholic dessert get the holy s’mores. So so good!! Thank you!

I can't get enough of the Filet Pasta! Every. Single. Time... Moon Dog delivers amazing food with great flavor and the best cocktails. Don't sleep on the Spicy Margarita! It's cool because it is family friendly.
