Everything was wonderful. We had a great time celebrating Birthdays.

We went up to the covered bridge festival and decided to go by Wabash to find somewhere to eat instead of going back to Peru. We were greeted by some sort of festival of body builders and a single parking spot with our name on it a block away. For spur of the moment, that was a big surprise!
The restaurant was booked out so we had to wait about 45min for a table for two. Not a big deal as they have a wine room and candy shop attached that we could waste time at. I made sure to grill the host, manager and even the front desk of the Inn to ensure it was worth the wait and they all assured me it was.
Surprisingly, it was worth the wait. The waitress was a bit all over but I believe they were experiencing some rush due to the festival. We still got all the service we required and requested.
I gave the prime rib a try with a baked potato and green beans. The prime rib was a little over cooked at the edge but still had good flavor. The green beans were 100% amazing. The baked potato was bland and not worth it. Over all, I enjoyed it. My wife got a fried chicken salad and she said hers was wonderful.
We ordered a few drinks and the bartender did a great job with recommendations. Not a huge selection of bourbon but they have a few good ones.
Only other let down was the online Google menu showed truffle fries and they no longer serve them.
We were very surprised to find this establishment and even more surprised it was worth the wait. We will be back and hopefully it continues to live up to the five star rating!

We went to celebrate our parents 70 anniversary and Father's 90 birthday. I put in the reservation. Stephanie our waitress was very slow on service and paid zero attention to our experience. French onion soup unedible. I ordered a steak salad medium rare it was well done. I had to wait get her attention to get steak knife to eat over cooked steak. Dad ordered fried chicken which was so over cooked it was unedible. We tried to order corn bread and pay for it and Manager said no but offered 2 free dessert. Stephanie never came to clear our table. We declined anything free we just want to pay for the worst menu and get out of there. I had to go to the hostess stand to get the manager because Stephanie disappeared again so we could bill to get out of there. I checked with hostess and confirmed that they knew it was a very special occasion and they knew and still provided horrible service and product. I've never written a review but the owners need to know what an absolute disaster their restaurant is. STAY AWAY!
Lovely restaurant, good service from the staff, but the food just missed the mark. For example, I ordered the Spring Chicken salad which was a nice sized salad filled with lovely bits of berries and nuts, but unfortunately the chicken and the lettuce were pretty much room temperature instead of a nice crispy salad. It was still good, but not as wonderful as it could have been. And then the menu wasn’t what was online, and it didn’t have any of the amazing dishes we had anticipated ordering when we prescreened the restaurant online. Still we’re hoping it was just an off night, and we hope to try again.

We love this place for location and atmosphere. We have visited twice and first time food was great. Second time food was OK. Bacon disintegrated into powder when we bit into it...not good.
First time server was very good. Second time server was not friendly at all. Almost rude.
We will try again as we hope it was a bad day. We enjoy our trips to Wabash. We love to support small town/local restaurants and shopping.
Good breakfast buffet. Hash brown casserole is the best.
I stay at Charley Creek once a month and I would never ever come back to this restaurant. I was alone on Mother’s Day and I got to sit for over 11 minutes with no service while parties of four more got seated got their drinks. Everything they wanted while I was completely ignored. Then I go to the hostess stand and she thinks it’s a big joke and a smiling, and laughing about the whole thing. Stay far away from this place. Their service sucks.
Great food and wonderful service
Food was okay. We have eaten there before and it has been really good. The inconsistency is a bummer. The creme brulee was not edible, and was a huge disappointment. The server's response to our dislike of the dessert was also disappointing and very unprofessional.
What a fantastic place, amazing atmosphere, old world sophistication and nuances with a dash of elegance to round out a quiet and pleasant venue.. the food was top quality, large menu with well prepared dishes that come in a wonderful presentation.. excellent wine list and wonderful cocktails all
Served by friendly well trained and attentive staff makes this restaurant a must for any occasion..

Seating is tight for a party of six. Bourbon filet was excellent, prime rib was tough. Overall, we were very satisfied.
We secured reservation for myself my wife, my elderly father and mother in law December 7th at 5 pm. We were so excited to get them out to go to the nutcracker just down the street at 7 pm. We needed a restaurant close because of use of a walker and a cane. We were there early, sat immediately, ordered immediately. By 6:45 we still hadn't seen our food. The front end manager said it wasn't her problem she just seats people the head chef it was his problem. My elderly parents went without dinner that night and my wife and I bought us some popcorn and a pretzel at the nutcracker which was very nice. No accountability at this restaurant and they still wanted us to pay for our meal. The night will always be memorable at least.
I was pleasantly surprised. It was clean and nice. The food was great as was the service. The only drawback was that they were out of a few itemswhichb.was a surprise on a Friday given its the beginning of a weekend. I would go again.
The atmosohere is very nice. The server was new, she was learning, so average, but I'm sure she'll get better. Food was mixed for the most part. Those who order fish were happy, but the steaks were not cooked correctly. Two filets were ordered as medium rare and came out well done. A NY strip was ordered as medium rare and came out more rare. Definitely brought down the rating. The drink menu was interesting for the older style, definitely recommend the Side Car. But then one ordered a Manhattan and the first was good, but the second was not the same and you could tell by the color and ice selection. The remade one was much better; it server staff was making them.
Parking: It was a slow time in town so parking wasn't a problem. But when busy, it'll be hard.
