Danny's Pizza & Sports Bar

I lost a piece of my tooth here eating "thanksgiving pizza" but that was entirely unrelated to the quality of the food. I think i swallowed it because i could not find it.
Anyway, pretty cool place unless you hate walking on stairs, but you should get used to it because the alternative is ladders and those are more risky. Its like a cool clubhouse.

Carry out orders for food are obviously optional depending on which bartender is on duty. If they decline your call, then most likely they're not going to answer the phone at all.

28$ for a thin crust 4 topping medium pizza. Wow! Won't do that again.

Stopped on Wednesday 9/11 for a bite to eat. All the regulars were there having a good time laughing and drinking until one man decided it was okay to vape inside at the table if no one saw him. We'll, I saw you and the smell was terrible! Go outside with the rest of the smokers. He vaped quite a few times. Indiana does have a fine for smoking or vaping in bars that do not allow it!

1 star because I had to rate it to review it. No lie spent 40 dollars on 2 pizzas and had to put them in the oven and actually cook them. Lame as hell Danny. You used to be the man now your deep dish is garbage ?

Picked up and took to our campground. The pizza was great, the best in a long time. We will return.

The food was really good. Great pizza. Also had a patty melt, it was good. But the service was HORRIBLE. When we received our food, I had to ask for plates for the pizza. The server said sure. When we did receive our food I had like sips left in my cup of coke. I had to go up to the bar to get a refill. The waitress ( my waitress) was behind the bar talking to people talking to customers sitting at the bar. I had to go down to her to get served. When we were completely finished our meal, then she brings one plate . I had originally asked for 2. Then we asked for a box and the bill. She brought back a clam shell.NOT a pizza box. There was half a pizza left. We had to ask for another box for the rest of the pizza.
Great food and SUPER HORRIBLE service. It was not dinner time. It was 8pm on Sunday evening. The people sitting next to us also had to go up to the bar for to go boxes. I'm a firm believer in tipping. I usually tip more than 20%. I tip on the service I receive. The waitress seemed clueless as to the horrible service we received. And was probably still expecting a good tip.
There were cigarette butts everywhere outside. On the patio, walking up the stairs and all over the parking lot.

Love the food, especially the pizza. We drive almost an hour it and are never disappointed with the thin crust supreme. Love the atmosphere as well.
