We came in for the first time for lunch on our way to Brookville. The Tavern Burger, onion rings and bean soup were delicious. Some guy I know told me the chicken sandwich and fries were very good. Shared a piece of peanut butter pie, which was so hard to do since it was the best we ever had. Our server was great with our order coming out like it should. We will definitely return.

Closed on Sunday.. but says open on google.. will adjust my review once I try the food.

To owners - please adjust your google listing hours so people don’t drive 30min to try your food…

If you don’t stop at this place while in the area, scratch that, drive to this place from where you are!!!! The service is great, the atmosphere is an 1860 bar, what else can you say about that! The fried chicken is amazing!!!! Crunchy on the outside, moist and tender and extremely hot on the inside!!! I wish I would have found this place on my first day in Indiana, not my last, but I will be back!!! Wife had the French bread pizza, which was home made and really delicious!!...
